Today I felt like doing a little photoshoot. It features my bjd doll Inanis in a pretty black dress. I decided to take different photos of her.
I tried different wig combinations to do a little bit of variety. I tried to keep things simple.
The poses are the only thing that I prioritized. In the first photo, I photographed the doll without a wig.
If you remove the wig, she looks more like a cat. The other photos feature the cat with a silver and red wig.
For the background, I used the moon for a background. It is one of the first backgrounds I painted for doll theater.
Remember doll theater? What a mess! It was a fun mess, but it took like forever. Still, it was fun to try out stop motion.
The videos ended up taking like forever. They are still rotting away on the Youtube.
It was a very pointless exercise. I do better with the photos. I take very good photos.
I took the photos with the flash. I use the settings for photographing letters.
I just need to work with the position, in order to maintain the hues of the doll.
I did not use a doll stand to take the photos. I used the bike to help to balance the doll.
It is also an interesting prop. The outfit belongs to one of my Dollmore dolls. It was a perfect fit for her.
The camera is my trusty Fujifilm Finepix camera. I have been using the same camera for almost a decade.
It takes pretty neat photos. Sometimes the camera takes a bit to turn on.
When I zoom in and out, it makes a weird sound. It must be getting a little rusty.
Anyhow, I hope you find this information about my dolls useful.
The new book is progressing well around the edges.
I am about a quarter done with the book. The plants are progressing well.
The papayas are growing well. A few of my bell pepper plants have developed XXs for eyes.
The others are still doing well. I think I have ranted enough for one day.
This is Teresita Blanco the Artsy Sister.
Lately, I have been a Writer Sister, instead of an Artsy Sister. Writing is a good way to pass the time.
It is just about all I have been doing lately. Well…see you later. Bye.
