I was bored and so I took a few doll photos.
The photos work differently from the Stop Motion videos.
I can get a little bit more creative with the poses.
Originally, I only had time to take a few photos.
In the end, I was able to take at least 50 something ball jointed doll photos.
We had a visitor today.
And by We, I mean my mother.
She finally got her second vaccine, and she is good to go.
Since she took the Moderna Vaccine, this is the one we are going to try.
I figured that if it worked on her, I have a 50 percent chance that it will do right by me as well.
I was trying to avoid getting vaccinated as much as possible, because of reasons.
In the end, I decided to bite the bullet.
This week I am going to get around to it, with my brother. I going to take it in a random Publix.
After the shot, I am going to buy a random sweet food since I was such a good girl. Food is a good motivation.
Speaking of food, I think I got off the wagon for a bit. I went up like two pounds. I was like super close to 164.
I guess I am going to have to try extra hard next week. Between you and me, I am like super sick of the salad.
I suppose it is just something that cannot be helped. The pumpkins plants are like getting closed to shooting out flowers.
They have grown rather stupendously. I think I may have over planted the pumpkin patch.
I might have to space them out a lot more in the future. In the mix, there were a few dormant sunflower seeds.
I am going to let them grow to lure the butterflies closer. The pumpkins are releasing those silly vine tentacles.
They seem to have the intention of growing tall. I need to start adding sticks to help them grow big, and tall.
Everything is a work in progress as all. Now, I am having to rely on the lumber that brother chopped from a random tree.
At least the lizard posts are working well. There are lizards patrolling the pumpkin patch.
They are useful for patrolling for pests. I also got around to planting some papaya saplings.
Since we could not get around making a planter, we ended up burying them on the ground.
We cleaned up the area, and then we added mulch and some rocks.
Aside from the gardening thing, we went down to Islamorada to our favorite Wahoo Bar and Grill.
We ate some amassing fish, while we saw some cool looking sharks. We also saw some idiots trying to go on a flimsy boat, and paddler ride.
There was a lot of wind, and the boat wobbled a lot. After an eager fin passed by, they had the common sense to return to port.
It also did not helped that I kept yelling shark in English and Spanish, just to be safe. I like sharks. I find their eyes particularly charming.
You would never catch me dead inside the ocean water. Still, one does not need to be an ocean dweller to appreciate its creatures.
We have the Earth, they have the Ocean. To each their own, I always say. Anyhow, this brings me to the doll photographs.
I took all of them in one hour. I tried to keep things simple. I wanted to highlight the new doll, but I also wanted the old dolls to shine.
Since the new doll has a propensity for falling over, I kept her with just one other doll partner.
During the photoshoot, she almost fell off the table, along with the second doll. I had to use my quick reflexes to catch her, and her mate.
I need a better doll stand. One that is heavy, and steady.
Her original stand was just meant to make her look pretty, but not much else.
Still, I worked with what I had.
Aside from the black and white photos, I also took a couple featuring the color red.
All the heavy lifting was done by the camera.
My computer does not have photoshop.
So, there really isn’t any type of photomanipulation.
Everything was done within the full scope of my camera’s capabilities.
I had the same camera for about 8 years.
It has gotten a bit slow, with the loading time, but she still gets the job done.
There is no need to replace something that works well.
Well, regardless, I am like starting to fall asleep.
I am like super tired from all the gardening stuff.
Next week is going to be pretty busy.
The website is finally bringing in more than a couple of fishes.
So, this is the time to put one’s back into it.
Anyhow, this is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister.
I also write books.
So, if you like my blogging nonsense, you should check out some of my novels, if it pleases you.
Bye, Bye, and God Bless.
