Today, I did a little photoshoot of my dragon doll and two other dolls. The pose book I recently bought really removes a bit of the guesswork.
You can see that my photo compositions have gotten a little bit better. Sometimes, it is useful to use reference works.
Still, dolls are not humans. They have limited ranges of movement.
With gravity working against me, I cannot replicate all the photos I see in books or in paintings.
Classical works of art are also useful for posing dolls. You can also try looking at dance numbers for posing ideas.
Well, with the dragon doll I also need to take her wings into consideration. As far as dolls with unique body types, I only have a fox, a dragon and a cat.
My elf doll doesn’t really count cause elves only have ears as their main identifier.
Still, it is a very pretty elf bjd doll. Counting the pre-ordered doll, I officially have 12 bjd dolls in my collection.
With such a high number, I am starting to consider slowing down the purchasing of the dolls.
Last year, I made a lot of impulse buys.
I want to saved up a little bit of money this year.
I am not saving up for anything in particular. It is just something that is useful to do at least once in a while.
Plus, everything in the States is getting so expensive. Just the food alone is starting to cost an arm and a leg.
There are some things that cannot be helped. A single person can only react to the changes of the world.
This is enough about the real world. I am still a little bit half asleep. I have been editing the new book for publication.
The Sacred Mask 3 is already done. It swelled up to 230,000 words. Now, I am shrinking the book.
It is important to always trim the fat. Most writers think that everything they produce is gold.
In the editing process, it helps to imagine that you are editing someone else’s book.
It makes it easier to make tough, objective decisions. Aside from working on my book, I got around to playing Elder Ring.
I killed a dragon on horseback. It was the high point of my day yesterday.
I think this about it as far as my nonsense is concerned.
I hope you find the photos I took of my bjd doll amusing.
This is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, Bye, and God bless.
