On Thanksgiving, the lights went out. A drunk guy hit a post and it took out all the power in the block.
All the Thanksgiving food spoiled or went undercook. So, that was a big waste of 100 bucks.
The night fell and we still had no power. Under those circumstances, I felt powerless.
All joking aside, it was a good thing we had a few candles lying about.
We slept with very little clothing and a lot of heat. The Nintendo Switch was at least useful for passing the time a bit.
Still, it is irritating to try to do anything without any power.
It is amassing the things you take for granted.
Since we forgot to say thank you for the electricity, the power went away.
The following morning, we awoke and there was still no power.
After taking a cold bath, we went to Denny’s to eat breakfast.
I ate the worse crepes in the history of crepes.
Then again, it hard to bet hungry when you woke up in a foul mood.
With the breakfast out of the way, we went to Burlington that was nearby.
We bought a box and a red dress, all for 30 bucks.
This was all the shopping with did for Black Friday.
When driving home, we saw the light post that the FPL was fixing.
With nothing better to do with my time, I brought out the dolls and attempted to do a photoshoot with lowlight.
It is a good thing that the camera has a strong flash.
It isn’t my best bjd doll photoshoot, but it is certainly not my worse.
The photoshoot featured my doll chateau Satyr with my Dream Valley dolls.
I tried to pose them as cute as possible considering the limitations of the day.
I have been window shopping for dolls but considering the mood of the day I am not in buying type of mood.
By the time I finished the doll photoshoot, the lights came back.
Everything finally has come back to normal.
So, if you think that things are going bad for you, just remember that they could get worse.
I learned that the hard way when the lights went off. Well, I am not going to bore you with my daily woes.
I hope things are going well for you. I hope that you have electricity as well. This is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, Bye and God bless.
