This is a photo I took of my blue Delphiniums. As of lately, I have been doing a bit of novice gardening. Every so often, I try to remove a bit of grass that is growing between the flowers. I usually stop because my back and legs start hurting. I am not cut to be a gardener. I do not have the built for taking it seriously.
Still, little by little I make progress. The miracle grow thing I added to the plants is working well. Tomorrow, I am going to feed the plants again. It is usually better to do so around 4 PM. This is the time they let you water the plants in Florida. They are doing here the whole water conservation thing.
Apparently, we are running out of fresh water in this watery swamp. I still think they are just being jerks for the hell of it. Still, one has to do what one must to survive or whatever. All in all, I want to make a garden that is photogenic. I hope to one day make a coffee table book featuring the flowers in my garden.
My camera can take pretty big photos. The flowers are all ephemeral. Still, the photography allows one to capture their beauty in a moment’s time. The main flower being featured here is the Blue Delphiniums. I learned about them from watching Monty Don’s flower shows.
The garden in it of itself has not received any plant food in centuries. It was all overgrown when we moved here. Those were the days. It is rare to have such pretty flowers during the winter. Still, I am a little concerned with the summer time. The summer comes with the Hurricanes.
During one of them, we lost a bunch of cute looking blue flowers. I replaced them with this one. Tomorrow, I am going to show you the new Mar Pacificos that grew. When I water them, I usually water them using the mist setting of the garden hose. I also water them often, but very little.
It is important to also water the leaves. It helps refresh the plant. I am just figuring things out as I go, like the ancient cavemen. I have farmer blood in my veins. Folks from my mother and father’s side were farmers back when that meant something.
I decided to try the whole gardening game. You can make great progress by just employing a little bit of common sense. Keen observations is also a must as well. I should write a novice gardening book.
