Today, I did my first summer themed bjd doll photoshoot. It seemed like a good a time as any to get started on the summer blogs.
Summer starts pretty early in South Florida. It has been super-hot and super rainy these past few days.
In commemoration of summer, I dressed my Blue Fairy Doll Chateau dolly in a beautiful Pink Boho Dress.
The maker of this dress is no longer in operation. I do not know what happened to her.
She went by the name Glamoria. She used to have a store in Etsy, but she went the way of the dinosaur.
This is more the pity because she was the only one who made quality Doll Chateau dresses.
My one regret is that I didn’t buy more of her outfits when I had the chance. Well, you live and you learn, I suppose.
One lives with the illusion that most things are going to last forever. When they disappear on you, all you are left is with a strong sense of regret.
Well, enough about that nonsense. I wanted to show you how my fairy doll looks in a pretty pink or maybe red dress.
I had her wear a Dream Valley blonde wig. This wig used to belong to my dragon doll. Both have the same head size.
So, this works well for my doll Chateau cuties. They can share wigs with my 1/6 BJD dolls. I am always mixing and matching across all my dolls.
I never know what is going to fit on one doll. Dressing the fairy doll is a bit difficult because of the wings.
I am always having to account for the wings, when looking for outfits for this cutie.
So far, I have managed to change her look consistently, but there is a limit to how many outfits will work on her.
In this photoshoot, I just had her in specific. I had a background with a beautiful beach scene that I painted on a project board.
For the floor, I used a beach towel. I kept the prop elements to a bare minimum. I didn’t want to steal focus from the beautiful doll and her lovely dress.
The bike was quite amusing. It is a little hard to take standing photos with the doll.
Her winds change the angle of gravity. It makes it easy for her to lose her balance.
I did the best I could, given the circumstances. I hope you find my newest bjd doll photoshoot amusing.
I also did a Youtube and Tiktok video about this cute little dolly.
So, you can check it out soon.
I first like to upload the photoshoot and then the videos.
So, if you are reading this, the video is probably already out.
Or it will come out real soon.
My name is Teresita Blanco the Artsy Sister, and I approve this blog.
That always sounds so stupid.
But, whatever.
When you think of BJD dolls, think of this Artsy Sister.
I do these types of photoshoots on a weekly basis.
So, enjoy.
Continue to enjoy.
Now, I am done. Bye.
