Today, I wanted to show you my latest ink art. It is just a simple painting. It features Blue hearts against a golden background.
The Hearts had a lot of dots in the middle. I used Pixiss ink and paper. They combine well together.
For the first time, I was forced to thin out the paints. I had added alcohol ink into the bottles in order to make more golden ink.
The little bottle was almost halfway done. Adding rubbing alcohol saved me the trouble of having to get more ink.
This is something to keep in mind if you are running low of a particular color. I am a bit of a penny pincher, for the obvious reasons.
This has forced me to become clever in the saving paint department. A little bit of rubbing alcohol goes a long way.
I had to be super careful when opening the bottles. One wrong move, and what little paint remained would have gone to waste.
With that problem out of the way, it was time to make the ink paintings. I started with the blue hearts.
Once I made four, I added the golden background. I used a different shade of blue to add a point of interest.
I am going through a little bit of a heart phase. Once I get bored of making those types of painting, I will attempt a different, simple shape.
In any case, I hope that you like my new ink arts. I took photos of the wet and finished versions.
They look kinda alike. Even so, it is helpful to take photographs of the dry version to observe the color shift.
My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless. In other news, I have a new resin project under the hat.
I am trying to make bjd doll eyes. So, look forward to seeing that in about a week or son. I need time for the white of the eyes to cure. Take care, everyone.
