I made a new painting background for my dolls photoshoot. I have been going through a bit of a golden phase.
I started the painting by painting everything in yellow. I mixed yellow acrylics with liquid white gesso.
This saved me a couple of steps in the development of this painting. Every so often, I added yellow glitter on top of the wet acrylic.
Acrylic is a glue like paint. So, it was easy for the glitter to fussed into the project board. With that done, I painted the sides before painting the middle.
I used the color black liberally on the sides. I made quite the nice checkerboard pattern.
That pattern never goes out of style. In the center, I painted clusters of abstract flowers. I think it was an interesting effort.
I hope you like my new painted background. You are going to see a lot more of it in the near future.
My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
