This is a little drawing I made a couple of weeks ago. It has been a while since I posted new drawings to the website. The outfit of this maiden looked pretty interesting, and so I drew it. The original maiden was from the US, and the date is the start of the 20th century. A lot of things have changed over the past 100 years. Thought lately, it all feels pretty stagnated. Nothing seems to have taken a great leap forward. I guess it feels like this since we are living in this time.

Take a couple centuries and the people in the future, will be saying we took great leap forwards. This is not assuming that some cataclysm destroys all our technology, or smart people. It was not my intention to sound so bleak. Today, I saw the wedding of one of those princes of England. I was not too keen on figuring out which one. I do not care too much about it. I always thought I was a princess since I was a little girl.

Even when I was in rags, I always carried myself in a manner which I considered regal. I never was a fan of putting people on pedestals. Take all the fancy titles, and wealth, and they are just another poor fellow. If you ask me, people's true value is measure by their talents. This is not to say I would worship some multi-talented fellow. The long and short of it, is that the person you should always admire, and respect is yourself.

I know it sounds like I am a bit self-centered, but it is better than hating oneself. There is a lot of people that have everything going for them, and still manage to be miserable. A lot of suffering is born from self-loathing. You should like yourself and love yourself, even if the entire world doesn't care about you. Well, this is just about it, for my daily rambling. Love yourself, and take care of your flesh by dieting and exercising. Take care of the only body you have known for your entire life.
