This is another one of my sitting figures. I was practicing my figure drawings. Sometimes, you just want to chill and draw something that is not too serious. As with all my drawings, I draw for myself. I no longer draw what people tell me to draw. It was somewhat entertaining in the old days, back when I was into the reddit game with my brother. We burned that bridge. So, now I just draw for myself. If you like the drawing, great, if not, bugger off. I like British maledictions. They always sound rather entertaining, like they are gargling or something. The bad Adam Sandler movie did a lot of funny British jokes. I can’t remember the name of the film.

The Americans sometimes have a hard time understanding the way British people talk. It gets worse when they go to Scotland. I never had this experience. I always had an easier time listening to British talk. Then again, I learned English by reading books mostly written in British. Some of the early books that I read was the Harry Potter books. This was not the only reading I did. Most of the fantasy books I read in the old days were in High School. I cannot seem to remember the title of half of them. I do remember the Goosebumps and Fear Street books. They were not scary at all, they were just pleasant to read.

I always had a bit of a love hate thing with scary movie stuff. From time to time, my books turn into a bit of scary movie. I do not do it on purpose. It just happens. I only notice when I am reading them to my brother. He is my main editor. He reads my book over the top, and then gives me a couple of pointers. This is usually only done with short projects. With longer projects, I read it to him. I fix the errors while reading them out loud. Sometimes it is easier to find the errors if you read the story out loud. As of now, I am working on completing my long fantasy series. Every night for the most part, I try to add more to the book.

With all my volumes, I try different narration styles. I already exhausted the different points of views. I also did a different types of narrators, and I even did Epistles and a biography books. As of now, I am playing with the pacing of the books. This one I am not doing any time jumps. I try to pace it day by day. Some days tend to drag on longer than other.  So far, it has been an interesting experiment. There are very few books that try to do that. The only book I remember that did so, was Niebla by Unamuno. The book technically takes place in less than a week. As with the protagonist, I always do first boy, and then girl. Since the book is an odd number, the book is going to have more boys than girl protagonist.

As far as my books are concerned, I always have a bit of a preference with male protagonists. I just find it easier to write with a male main character. With a girl in medieval times, I always have to keep her gender in mind. There is always going to be a lot of restrictions as far has her interaction with other chumps are concerned. Most fantasy books tend to gloss over that problem. Still, it is not something one can easily ignore. It takes from the reality of it. Even as of now, there is a lot of restrictions as far as acceptable woman behavior. Men still get away with a lot more junk for the most part. My other main books are also going to have male protagonists, except for my science fiction book.

In that one, the protagonist is not going to be male or female. Still, the people the fellow interacts with will assign a gender to it, because that is how humans roll. They like to have things in boxes, and everyone and everything is tight cast. I have a preference for things that are hard to classify, like marsupials or the platypus. Both are fun types of animals. I think this is just about it with my daily ramblings. As of now, I have written 95,000 words for my Artsy Sister blog. I can tell because I first write it in Microsoft before passing it to online. I have always done backups of my works. You never know when they will become useful. Online wise, plenty of my work is in circulation. A lot of fellows have copied my entire blogs, and that is a bit annoying. Moving along! The drawing was made with my Leda Art Supply Sketchbook. I used a different brand of art supply to make the drawing. In no particular order I used: Steadtler, Prismacolor, Sakura, Art 101, Lyra, Morris Bamboo, Derwent, Pentel and Royal and Langnickel. I hope you find this information useful.
