Today, I did a little photoshoot of my vampire doll Candice. She is wearing the historical jammies she came with.
Even her undergarments are Victorian. Vampires seem like a Victorian era type of deal.
When one pictures a vampire, the fashion that comes to mind is from the Victorian era.
Then again, the woman outfits of those times looked pretty amassing. Even today, a lot of maidens still wear outfits that resemble those gowns.
It is just one of those things that never goes out of style, like 80s. As for me, I only bother to wear comfortable outfits.
At home, I only wear pajamas. I haven’t had a proper guest into my house in more than a century or two.
Not that I want visitors. Most just visit to eat the food, and burden us with their problems.
As part of a prop, I used two Mexican skulls. I just work with whatever stuff I can find in my house to use as prop.
Aside from the skulls, I also used a little fake flower of mine. I am trying keep all the photoshoots varied.
I do not want to repeat myself. The poses range from cute to creepy.
She is supposed to be a creepy vampire around the edges.
The makeup and the hair sells the idea well.
My vampire doll does have a reflection. This is more the pity.
Still, I tried to get a little gimmicky with the mirror photos.
All in all, I took about 30 something photos.
For next week, I am going to do a photoshoot with the little Ringdoll Ange.
Since she is smaller, I can make better usage of other props.
Most of my props are quite small. I have been a little bit on a saving mode.
Aside from that, I have been making progress with my third Sacred Mask book.
I am also trying to work up the energy to draw a bit. I have been in a writing type of mood.
The good thing about writing is that it doesn’t require a lot of supplies.
A computer is usually all it takes. With the books, I am going for the telenovela type of feel, with a big type of cast.
When I started with the book, I did not have a definite ending in mind.
The real world doesn’t have story arcs.
Our entire reality is episodic. All in all, it is a fantasy type of romance.
Even with the dragons and the magic, the story still has plenty of legs to walk on.
I chose a fantasy world because I do not care much for the real world.
I did not even bother to have a lot of humans.
The humans that did survive the cataclysm were vampires and two Ancient Egyptian magic users.
Their powers gives them their longevity.
Well, this is just about it as far as my nonsense is concerned.
Happy doll collecting chibis.
This is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, Bye and God bless.
