I was eating at a different restaurant when I saw a waiter coming in with a box. The box had the name Delicias de Espana. I googled the name of the place. I was delighted to discover that it was a restaurant.

I looked at the dessert menu over the top. I then made it my dining destination the following week. I like to go out to eat at least once a week. It breaks the monotony of my day, to day existence.

When we arrived, we were a little confused. The place looked more like a bakery than a restaurant. Once you go inside, you take a right. Behind the wine case, you find the restaurant.

Aside from being a restaurant, this place is a mini mart and a bakery. They specialize in selling stuff from Spain. This is not important. I went there to eat at the restaurant.

At the entrance, there is a guy slicing up serrano ham. I tried a free sample. It was really yummy. For appetizers, we had garbanzo, a board with various hams and cheese and a serrano sandwich with tomato.

For the main course, we had shrimp, lamb and pork. I ordered my shrimp with fries. The fries are circular, which is very interesting. They are delicious. Once we finished overstuffing ourselves, we had dessert.

Mom had the flan, my brother the souffle and I had the turron tart, with dulce de leche. They were equally fattening and delicious.

I am also going to make a short of my visit. You can check it out in my Artsy Sister Youtube Channel. My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
