Things are finally going back to normal. Like every week, I have prepared for you a new bjd doll photoshoot.
I try to keep things fresh. I am always trying to avoid showing the doll wearing the same dress twice.
This is part of the reason why I have been getting bjd dolls of similar sizes.
Most of my dolls are ¼ in size. They are not too big and not too small. I am still waiting on that pre-order.
It was a Coral Reef doll. I ordered her last December. She is going to get here when she gets here, or so it would seem.
You know that saying: Good things come to those who wait. I also pre-ordered two different dresses for my doll.
Hopefully, the bjd doll and her three outfits will arrive together. If not, well, I suppose I will have no other choice, but to continue waiting.
This might be the last bjd doll I am ever going to get. Lilian was another pre-order that took forever to arrive.
She arrived home looking beautiful. Pre-orders take forever, but they allow you a bit of customization.
They are also cheaper. So, it is all a matter of picking your poison. Do you want to pay more and get a doll that is in stock?
Or do you want to pay less, and wait forever to get your pre-order? This is the life I chose as a bjd doll collector.
I play with my dolls on an almost weekly basis. It is relaxing to dress them up and take photos of them.
I am always brainstorming new bjd doll photoshoots. In this one, I kept it a little simple with the props.
I didn’t want to steal attention from the bjd doll. I need to get around to making a new background.
Everything is a work in progress. Just when you think you are finished, a new idea pops into your head.
I have a lot of ideas. I have never suffered from writer’s block.
I developed an overactive imagination thanks to my boring schools.
Every day, there was a new boring lecture and a new bully whose taunting I needed to tune out.
I got quite skilled at abstracting myself from the world.
Despite my abstractions, I somehow managed to get good grades.
As long as you are half paying attention, you can get Straight As in a public school.
Then again, I cannot speak for others. I just wanted you to get to know me a little better.
Now, it is time to rant again about my dolls.
My faun doll was made by Doll Chateau.
She has pretty normal looking anatomy. So, she can wear the same outfits as my Dollmore Dolls.
Here she is sporting a simple looking sepia dress. I also took sepia-colored photographs.
It is fun to just mess around with the settings of the camera.
It is boring to do the same types of photoshoots all the time.
I also took a short video of the doll.
Depending on when you read this, the video is going to be up in my Tiktok and Youtube.
I think I ranted enough for one day. My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
