I have a lot of long wigs. I need to get different short hair wigs.
On the meantime, enjoy the new photos I took of my ballerina bjd doll.
For those not up to date, the wigs, the dress and the dolly is Dollmore’s handywork.
I like to mention them whenever I take photographs of my dolly.
It is the polite thing to do. The couch is a Journey Girls bed.
It is big enough for my 1/4BJD Dolls. The pink combines with the green background.
The floor carpet is one of my dresses. I wanted to vary the look of the photographs as much as possible.
Since I do not get out much, I am reworking some of my dresses as carpets and backgrounds.
I just use whatever has a somewhat decent pattern. I do not necessarily break up the dresses.
Rather, I just stretch them over the table. Once I finish with the photos, I just return them to the closet.
The poses I just made them up as I went along. I have two standing photos, two sitting ones and some portraits.
This weekend I actually went out of the house. Mother wanted to get a dress for a birthday party.
I went along with her to help her pick something that will fit her. This was easier said than done.
They just don’t make dresses for the average American body.
All joking aside, it was nice to do something different with one’s time. The manikins showed signs of getting beaten up.
It was weird, but amusing. After we got her dress, we bought two outfits for two toddlers.
One of her friends had kids that had a birthday coming up this month.
Once we get that nonsense out of the way, we dine at the Cheesecake factory.
It wasn’t an exciting day, but it was different.
Different is good from time to time. Then again, I am one who likes her happy routine.
I started a new book. It is a romance book that takes place in the real world.
I chose the setting of south Florida. Whenever I set a book in the real world, it either takes place in Florida or Cuba.
Those are the only two places I have ever inhabited for a prolonged period of time.
I do not see the point of setting the book in a country that I am not familiar with.
Characters and plot are my strong point.
The setting is secondary if you have a good story driving the plot forward.
Consider this a writing tip from a prolific writer.
I am still not successful yet, but I haven’t let that dampen my spirit.
Like the lottery, I only need to get lucky once.
On the meantime, I am going to enjoy the writing craft.
The best way to disconnect oneself from the world is to get lost in a story of your own making.
I am not much for fanfiction, since I cannot monetize it.
Everything I write is original, or satire.
Satire is my forte, or so I have been told.
Anyhow, enjoy my new bjd doll photoshoot.
I hope you also like reading my blog.
It has a bit of a diary format.
Most of the entries look almost identical because not much has changed from my life.
This is a good thing. Most changes are bad.
I hope things are changing for the better in your world.
This is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. I also write books. Bye.
