On the 5th of November, I went with my family to the Faena Theater. We saw the show Allura. We also came there to overstuff our face.
I cannot say much about the drinks because I only had a soda. I photograph the food menu. You can see the food option and how much everything costed.
We ordered appetizers, main course and dessert. Even with mother and brother ordered drinks, everything ended up costing less than 300 bucks.
This is good considering that inflation is making everything so expensive. Anyhow, back to the food. For appetizers, I ordered some 12 bucks chips.
The Truffle Potato chips were perfectly crispy, and salty. It was the perfect snack to munch on while watching the show.
There was also popcorn available, but I do not eat popcorn anymore. It always gets stuck in between my teeth.
My brother had the Truffle Sliders and my mom had the Mediterranean Chopped Salad. I took a bite from my brother’s sliders.
It had a nice taste and texture. Mom’s salad combined well with the chips I ordered. The salad overall had a nice fresh taste.
This made it the perfect chip dip. For the main course, we had the lobster roll, the impossible burger and the fresh cavatelli pasta.
The one I can actually talk about is the pasta. This was the food that I ate. I didn’t add meat because I felt that it didn’t need it.
By itself, it was delicious. The last thing worth mentioning was the dessert. I can only review two desserts, because my brother and I were the only ones who had any.
My brother had the Passion Fruit Donuts. Each donut tasted like a different fruit. I tried one that had a nice strawberry flavor. I had the fried cheesecake rolls. The rolls are best eaten with your hand.
The forks just make the cheesecake spill out of the roll. The strawberry jams and the fresh fruits combined well with the vanilla cheesecake.
All in all, it was a fun culinary experience. So, if you go to the Allura show, don’t forget to try out the food. This is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
