Today, I got around to making a new bjd doll photoshoot. It is a bit difficult to do photoshoots that feature more than one doll.
I try to avoid it as much as possible. The standing poses are extremely difficult. I do not like to rely on doll stands.
They tend to steal focus. Without the doll stands, I need to balance the dolls against solid objects.
The couch prop is rather useful for group photos. Aside from taking photos, I also make a short video of the dolls.
I figure that I might kill two birds with one shot. The red dress was especially problematic to work with. It kept slipping upwards.
It made sitting poses a constant battle. Still, it was worth it since it makes the faun doll look this pretty.
I changed the orientation of the horns. The point of the horns come with joints. I can curl them forward or backwards.
If I move the magnets, I can even make the horns stand on point. The cat doll was just a cat doll.
The pants are a little long for her, but you have look rather close to notice.
Her heels work great with just about any outfit.
In this photoshoot, I first photographed the individual dolls, before sitting them together.
I crop the photographs to make them as long as possible. This allows you to focus on the outfit of the dolls.
I think next week I am going to finally change up the look of my fairy bjd doll.
She has a difficult body to work with. The wings require for her to wear a two-piece outfit.
The doll also has an interesting anatomy. All doll chateau bjds have an interesting look.
The faun doll is more or less anatomically correct. She can wear the same outfits as the other ¼ bjd dolls.
During the Christmas season, I prioritized getting new outfits for most of my dolls.
Aside from playing with dolls, I have been making some decent process with my writing.
I added some new pages to the manga The Furies.
I am still brainstorming a new Scary Cat volume.
I am more than halfway done with The Lovers Pentacle 2.
The second part has a lot more action set pieces.
They are ideal for filling up space.
I will probably write only three Lovers book, before changing up the project.
I have a lot of ideas jumping around in my head.
Well, I think I ranted enough about my books and my dolls for one day.
I hope that this new photoshoot makes you smile.

Bye, bye and God bless.
