Here is a nice little maiden in pink. I like pink a lot, it's like my favorite color. I rarely see anything good in pink. Designers tend to avoid it like the plague. The shade of pink in this dress is known as bubble gum pink. The red was like a nice contrast with the lighter shades. The entire ensemble with the gloves and the flowers was pretty common in Parisian party life.

The French impressionists were to prominent in popularizing leisure. It was a direct response to the factory life that surrounded them. People needed a break from time to time to live. This prominence in leisure is well noted in the impressionism paintings featuring people in parties or in the park.
