Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First Sin Game Review

With my Playstation came my Dark Souls 2 game. The only thing that remained was to put the game inside the Playstation. At first, he had problems finding the hole to insert the game.

When he did find it, the game did not work. It took a bit of doing, but my brother finally figured out what was wrong. He had the Playstation upside down. Therefore, the Playsation was reading the wrong side of the game.

After that initial scare, we finally were able to play the game. I started the new file as a warrior. Never before have I seen such beautiful graphics. Parallel to the arrival of the Playstation, we finally had figured out how to hotwire our TV to make the scenes HD.

The Dark Souls we saw was the most beautiful game I ever seen. Words cannot describe to you how much I love my new Dark Souls 2 game. It is amassing how moving a guy here and putting a frog there can make much of a difference. Things Betwixt now has a prettifying frog and a prettified hollow.

Therefore, I was not able to complete the tutorial. My character was a cute pale maiden with brown hair. Her name was Kida. As usual, I gave my cutie freaky white eyes. It is those details that complete the Hollowed human look. The dark areas really got darker, but I am getting ahead of myself.

The first place I died was in Majula. I was killing the green poison guys in the place where the pyromancer chick was prettified. A bunch in the top got lured in by the sound of explosive barrels I triggered. They were not there before, so they gave me quite the scare. From there, I joined the Covenant of Blue. It was better than nothing.

I traveled Heidi’s tower. I was curious to see how much the area had changed. The place was crawling with white guys. You know the Heidi knights who sound like Knight Artorias. At first, they were docile; however, they went rampage nuts when I killed Fatty.

Fatty was slain with the help of my friend and a computer player. The problem now is that the monsters don’t disappear like they used to. The ring of Binding was closer to fatty now. It was protected by a Heidi knight. I killed the cracker with the help of the computer player. Since the computer player fell down a hole, I was forced to run away.

It was a good thing the Heidi knight also fell down a hole, on his way back to the chest. I guess some things never change in Dark Souls. From there, I took on the forest. There was a giant green fat guy there. You remember, the fat guys who eat your head? He was wondering about there for no reason.

I tried to fight him but got killed. At the time, I really, really missed having a bow. Eventually, I made it to the second floor of the woods. I was surprised to see there was no Heidi knight. I guess they want you to work hard to get the equipment of those knights.

After a bit of trial and error, I managed to make it to the second bondfire. I bought from the Covetous Serpent Merchant a fancy item drop hat. The new version looks less dorkish than the one from before. It had a fancy necklace too. I also bought the key for the Hollow Blacksmith.

This time his face is simply green. We can appreciate all his putrid glory. After upgrading my schitmar, I went back to the forest. With one internet guy, I tried to fight the Pursuer, but I messed up. Now things are going to be even worst further on ahead. Things did go peachy when fighting the Last Giant.

For the first time, I had 3 helpers to fight the boss. The first was mild-mannered Pate. The other one was a summoned help and the last one was a shade. I think the shade was an administrator because he was wearing the Havel armor. As of now, all the Dark Soulnians are playing fair. I have not gotten invaded yet.

I did make it to the place where you meet Lucatiel. Surprise, surprise, she was not there yet. I guess I got too far ahead. Perhaps, she is prettified. I did see another one of those cursed frogs near a prettified something. I did not look closer because I did not have a long-range weapon.

Without arrows, I have been forced to rely on magic. Frankly, 30 soul arrows are cheaper than 30 arrows. I am managing with just 1 attunement. The character build of this maiden is pretty similar to my last file. I gave her a lot of dexterity and a whole lot of nothing.

I am still wearing the same crappy armor from the beginning. With my low carry weight, it is just about all I can afford. Recently, I got to level 40. Level 40 used to be a crucial level. For a feeble cursed one such as I, it was just about all I could do to avoid dying.

On a sidenote, we finally figured out livestream. We did 3 live streams, 2 from Dark Souls and 1 from Bloodborne. I will speak of Bloodborne soon enough. In any case, go buy the new version of Dark Souls. It looks amassing in HD.

Bloodborne Game Review

I had heard rumors that Bloodborne was easier than Dark Souls. The rumors were wrong. You start with the character build. I made my chick with short black hair and pretty young. I also gave her long legs which help her run away. We start by making a contract with this geezer.

He gives us the Hunter’s mark; for some reason that reminded me of the Dark Sign. The tutorial was pretty hard. I got killed by a big bad wolf. Miyazaki dono may claim Bloodborne is not related to Dark Souls and yet… For starters, there was the dodge roll and the evasion.

Hollows, I mean hunters have gotten faster since Dark Souls. For me, the game is like Dark Souls but during the Victorian Era. Those were indeed Dark times in England, or wherever this game takes place. The entire scenery looks nice. Plus, the bad guys sorta blend in since a good chunk is regular humans.

The humans were in the middle of a monster hunt. As with angry mobs, they were picking on me because I was an outsider. There was also a little lantern that worked the same as a bondfire. It took you the rest area of hunters. You also go there when you die. The place was a return to demon souls.

In Demon Souls, when you died, you went to this limbo like place. In the Hunter’s Dream, I met the old man in the wheelchair. He was napping in the garden. He sorta reminded me of Framp, from Dark Souls 1. I struck him to make him wakeup. He instead disappeared.

After wondering about, I learned that you cannot level up until you kill the first boss. I played the game for 3 hours and still have not found the boss. When you die, the monster who killed you keeps your blood. This time the dark sonians are into blood.

I guess the hunter’s mark turned me into a vampire. We can sorta heal a bit by bleeding the opponent. They in turn can do the same. Since the fighting style is fast passed, it becomes one of those think fast games. All the while I wondered, I saw the shadows of internet players dying left and right.

I did find a decent number of items. Since I could not level up, I bought some equipment in the rest area. I wanted to play with the doll there, but she did nothing. For a weapon, I chose the cleaver. It was in the promo and my girl was strong enough to use it.

For her past, I gave her a troubled childhood. This made her more resilient, whatever that means. I suppose it means she can handle more blows to the head. From time to time, I began to miss the shield. I am definitely relearning how to dodge. The thing that costs an arm and a leg are the bullets.

They are worth 120 souls; I mean blood vials per bullet. The people in town are also pretty mean. They laughed at me and did not give me goodies. The hardest thing I had to deal with were a pair of two big bad werewolves by the bridge. I shot one with oil and then I threw a Molotov cocktail. It was not enough to kill it. What was worst was when his friend joined in the frail.

Thank God, I was able to dodge well enough. After struggling, I was able to unlock the shortcut. The autosave feature works pretty well. However, the game sometimes forgets who the monster that stole my blood was. Plus, there were moments when I thought it was a horrible night for a curse.

Those Dark Souls people may have gotten out of the Dark Ages. However, they are still stuck on their old ways. In any case, I recommend this game to you chibis. It is really, really, really hard, possibly even harder than Dark Souls. Part of the challenge is the handicaps here and there.

It will be harder for people who love to hide behind a shield. Then again, guns sorta made shields obsolete. I can honestly say that dodging bullets is a lot harder than dodging arrows. In any case, I recommend this game to you chibis. Today or tomorrow my final fantasy Type 0 game will arrive. I have a good feeling about it.

It was said that Bloodborne was easier than Dark Souls 2. The rumors were wrong. Bloodborn is truly one of the hardest games ever created. The character built was quite lovely, if not somewhat sarcastic. The classes included traumatized human and waste of skin.

The good doctor curing the player gives you the Hunter's Mark. It works 100 percent like the Dark Sign. The Hunter is a bit faster than the Undead Warrior. It also takes place in a Gothic Town, during the Victorian Era. The scenery was highly detailed.

Instead of a bondfire, there was a lantern guarded by the Messengers. The Hunter's Dream also worked like the Nexus from Demon Souls. The First Hunter found in the Hunter's Dream was far more helpful than Framp, from Dark Souls. He tells you were to go.

In the start, the level up system can only be activated by encountering the first boss. This first boss could either be the Cleric Beast or Father Gascoine. In just a few lines, the player discovers all there is to know about Father Gascoine. He is a protestant, Irish priest with werewolf problems.

The Messengers in the bath provide plenty of items. As the more Hunter Badges were found, the more items were available. The early items were pretty expensive; specially, when the hunter starts with half backed weapons. The character also does not use a shield.

It is also a think fast game, with a lot of emphasis on dodging. Like in all souls game, Bloodborne does not have a map. A good chunk of the areas kinda look alike. Speaking of chunk, instead of Titanite Chunks, the game has blood chunks. The game has way too much blood.

The blood and grime tend to stick to the clothing. The invasion and asking for help tend to go smoother. All that the player needs is playing a bell. The whole putting a summon sign is over. Instead of having 50 Covenants, Blood Bloodborne only has tree.

Becoming a Vileblood is the easiest covenant to Join, with the Hunter of Hunters being the hardest. The Hunter of Hunter required defeating 2 more mini hunter bosses. The Vileblood one is made available after killing Rom. There is also the chance the player angers Eileen the Crow.

Angering her might come about as a result of using the Red Invasion Bell. Speaking of Bosses, the worst ones were Paleblood, The one Reborn, the Headless Bloodening Beast and the Phumerian Queen.

FF type zero Game Review

A few weeks ago, I got the new Final Fantasy game. The game does not have an official number. It’s kinda like Final Fantasy tactics. It starts with a description of the world. There are the yin yang chicks and the 4 guardians. Each guardian is a crystal chump with lose affiliations to the Faul Ci.

It seems Square Enix got enamored with the Lightning story. I mean the chick has 3 video games. Now back to the game. Like in the last Remnant, humans built a society around each crystal. There was the Tiger, the Phoenix, the turtle and the dragon crystals. These chumps are straight out of Chinese mythology.

The main characters are 12 kids each named after playing cards. The one in the front cover is Ace. He fights with playing cards. I have not won the game yet. I am around chapter 5. The characters are trying to prove they did not kill the queen. Each of the characters of the group is greatly developed.

They are all supposedly brothers and sisters. They could be. Their number corresponds to the 12 zodiac animals. After the creepy the game starts with a sob story. Like in Final Fantasy 11, the show stars with a guy who has nothing to do with anything dying. He was a talentless chump who bit on more than he could chew.

The main character cries when he sees him die. Based on this and a few other seems that followed, the guy was Ace’s romantic interest. Since I was feeling real tough, I started the game in Agito. With reraise, I thought I was going to win. Things went downhill when the reraise bracelet broke.

Now I would die for real when shot. I was forced to start the game anew, in normal. The first mission progressed at an even pace. I enjoyed using the eidolon Odin a lot. The problem came later, when I got my first Eidolon. It turns out I can only use the bloody beast during missions. That restriction was a bit of a letdown.

The second disappointment came in the Academy. The events had an odd timing about it. You were forced to work around the free time that was awarded for completing a mission. These events reminded me a bit of Star Ocean the Last Hope. Whenever I completed one, they gave me a small reward. On the title screen, I was able to replay the missions.

Later on the training ground became available. I simply fought the same soldiers, over and over. In Final Fantasy 8, the training ground was a true training ground. I used to train my GFs with Squall. From the large entourage of folks, there were a few characters that were pretty usable.

King was useful because he rarely missed. He was only vulnerable when reloading. Carter could dodge well and her magicite bullets packed a punch. The whole magicite thing was a reference to Final Fantasy 11, I think. I do remember that it was the Final Fantasy with the super-hot bunny girl, Fran.

The more I played the game the least I liked it. It had one or two interesting moments. The boss battles were relatively amusing. There were a few field missions which reminded me of age of empire. The expert trails were hard and somewhat annoying. I started disliking the game when I realized that most towns looked the same. Heck, even the enemy bases were identical.

The cherry on the top was the low resolution. The game truly did look half baked. The camera in the game also made me dizzy. Plus, the characters were unnaturally fast. I also found it amusing the shortage of phoenix downs. I only got 1 in the entire game thus far. As of late, the game has been boring me to tears. It seems to me that Square Enix was not really trying.

All the characters looked recycled in their design. The monsters were all the same, except they came in different colors. The world map was also quite restrictive. I had to win missions to move about. The chocobo breeding system was a bit of pain. I frankly do not see myself playing this game any time soon. This game is more suited for casual gamers, than pros.

The Witcher III: Wild Hunt Game Review

A few days ago, I bought this game. I had no games available between now and Tamriel online. I was bored of getting killed in Bloodborne and I had won Dark Souls 2 far too many times. The game was based on some old Polish books which were never translated to English. The Witcher games take place after the books ended.

I cannot tell you much about the plot since I bought the third part. The main character is Geralt of Rivia. Like his fellow Witchers, he hunts monsters. He had his body modified to gain his special monster fighting abilities. The game starts with him looking for his girlfriend Yennefer.

She eventually tracks him down after a bar fight. I have not advanced much in the storyline. Most of the time, I have been doing in between quests. Anyhow, after his girlfriend finds him she asks him to help her locate Cirri. Cirri was a trainee of Geralt. She was also a princess belonging to a king who hates Geralt’s guts.

As of now, the Wild Hunt wants to kill Cirri. Geralt agrees to help Yennefer find Cirri before Wild Hunt gets to the girl. As far as I can tell, Wild Hunt is some cool, evil skull knights. They are presumed to come from another world. Their leader has an army of monsters. Officially, Wild Hunt belongs to a polish folk tale. For no reason, an army of demons comes to earth to wreak havoc.

In allusion to this tale, Wild Hunt attacked Geralt and Yennefer on their way to the castle. The specters showed up on horses, with their skull armors. Behind them trailed a snowy aura. According to Norse mythology, the leader of the Wild Hunt was Odin. With him trailed his court of chosen warriors among the dead.

When he passed through the forest, all grew quiet. Only the howling of his hunting dogs where heard. People rarely saw Wild Hunt. Those that did were doomed to join them for all eternity. Now back to the game. In this one, the creators of the game made up an interesting little card game. It certainly passes the time rather nicely and it’s a decent way to make coin.

The game is kinda like Skyrim, except there is not much jolly cooperation. It also has a defined storyline. Still, one can wonder about and run into many strange things. There is quite the variety of monsters. Some are kinda dangerous like the Griffins that keep killing me and the occasional dragon.

There is no clear cut divide between levels, areas and monsters. Sometimes you can run into a SOB who beats you up in an area of level 1s. As for levels, it takes forever to get the bastard to level up. Still, the sites of power do provide a decent amount of ability points.

Geralt only does potions. He needs to find smiths to help him make his gear. The smiths vary in skill. I had to go on a wild goose chase to get my master sword smith. He lives in the city were people like to burn witches. Geralt has about 5 spells. As you go along, you can evolve them.

My personal favorite is the mindreading one. It unlocks conversations and it helps Geralt to take over the mind of his enemies. By using one enemy to kill another, Geralt has managed to take on enemies 10 levels higher than he is. I think that is just about everything worth mentioning. It really is quite the pretty fun game to play. It recently came out for the PS4.

Wilhelmina. The adventures of a Dutch doll By Nora Pitt-Taylor, pictured by Gladys Hall Children’s book Review

I was really bored a few days ago. I ran into this children’s book on the internet. Like all children’s books, it had lots of pictures and was relatively short. The book was about a Dutch Doll. She had immigrated with her family to the New World or something.

She had problems getting along with the other dolls. They used to look down on her because she was nude all the time. However, that was the custom of her country. Whenever she tried to explain herself, none of the other dolls understood her since they did not speak Dutch. It was a pretty neat story about immigrations. I recommend it.

The Witcher III: Wild Hunt is part of a trilogy based on a series of Polish books. The books never got translated to English. However, the trilogy was very popular in Poland. The game continues with the adventures of Geralt of Rivia.

He lives in a world were Gerald is Geralt and Jennifer is Yennefer. Being a male witch, or a witcher means he is a monster hunter of sorts. Through the Trail of the Grasses, he was able to gain super human abilities.

The game starts with him looking for Yennefer. After he finds her, he spends the rest of the game looking for Cirri. He eventually finds her around the middle of the game. The girl was being pursued by the Wild Hunt.

The Eredin, King of the Wild Hunt, needs her blood to bring his entire army to this world. His armor is very similar to the armor of the members of the Darkwraith Covenant, from Dark Souls. Then again, both tend to invade worlds rather often.

The wild hunt is actually a polish folktale. It tells of an army of specters that ride out at night. They usually show up in the winter time. They also kidnap humans and force them to participate in their hunts. Eredin and his crew follow this story to the letter.

The only difference is that the leader of the Wild Hunt is not Odin. Still, the game did go along with the winter theme of the Wild Hunt. Like in the Norman legends, the people in the world of the witcher thought the world was going to end when the White Frost came.

The witcher has only 6 spells. Though, they are really good spells. He also can only do potions. Its a lot less annoying than skyrim. In Skyrim, one can learn all crafts. This causes the player to spend the entire game making iron knifes.

At least in the Witcher, the blacksmiths can make you whatever weapon you like as long as you have the blue print. Their skill level varies. The best sword smith is found in Novigrad. The mission to get him was kinda annoying, but worth it.

Like skyrim, the Witcher has a lot of glitches. However, the game loads up pretty fast. The missions are also not at all too buggy. The game also has plenty free downloads. It is really worth playing. The best missions are the monster hunting missions.
