This is the new blog of the year 2019. I hope that it brings a lot of money into my the future and also health. Money and health are the two things that people cannot not do without. Happiness tends to follow along if you have both. Even one of them is useful as well.
Yesterday, I wanted to spend the New Year comfortably at my house. However, mom got persuaded to go to a friend’s house and so we spent it there. The lady had a great granddaughter who was a baby. I spent the entire party playing with the little girl. She was cute and huge, despite being one years old.
She wasn’t a fat baby per say, rather she was a tall baby. Anyhow, the food in the party was passable. Still, the cider mother bought for the toast was terrible. Then again, I am not much for drinking wine. It at least helped a bit that we bought the grapes. Grapes are traditional stand in for gifts.
I only ate one because I do not like grapes. Besides, if my wish comes true, the rest can be gotten with it. Can you guess what I wished for? It is just a trite really, just to Win the lottery or something like it. Money for nothing is one of the best things out there. It reminds me a bit of the silly song that goes about just like it.
For some reason, my index finger hurts a bit. I suppose I must have gotten a minute splinter. I do find it somewhat annoying. I slept for almost twelve hours. At this rate, we might sleep one day and wake up in the following. Even now, I still feel a little bit sleepy. I am wandering if the flowers are doing well.
I moved one that was not getting enough sunlight. Now, they all look pretty around the edges. Still, I have been thinking if they require a bit of water. The chrysanthemum bit the dust. After reading it online a bit, I discovered that it is normal. There is a reason why in the store they were worth only 2 bucks.
The moment you buy them, they start croaking. Ours lasted a little longer. They went ok for about a week and then the first one started dying. Soon, the other one joined her sister. I suppose they cannot do well in the soil. If I had kept them in the pot maybe they would have lasted longer.
Still, as a potted plant they would have required constant watering and who has time for that? Anyhow, this is just about everything I did yesterday. I went to a party and I busied myself about the front garden. I am not too keen on going into the back garden. I think there is a possum living there now. Still, I cannot be too certain.
Mom saw it passing by the front yard, very late at night. Maybe it was just passing through. I hoped that it killed a couple of roaches on his path. They tend to despise roaches as much as humans do. Anyhow, I think that my ramblings have lasted long enough as it is. I am going to call it early, and enjoy this photo that has nothing to do with anything. It is just Miami Beach or something like it.
