I got around to making a new Hollow Knight parody. In this one, I am making a reference to a famous Arthur Sarnoff painting.
It is called Scratched at Dawn. The wife of one of the dogs went to pick up her husband at the bar. He has been playing Pool for far too long.
He has work tomorrow. The bulldog’s wife is holding up her umbrella menacingly, while she pulls at his dog ear.
The other dogs at the bar are laughing. They find it amusing that such a big bulldog is getting pushed around by a poodle.
In my version, a bunch of ants got together to play Pool in Nightmare Grimm’s Troupe Tent. Grimm figures that a pool game would be fairer game.
The last time he invited people over, he almost lost everything because of a cheater. It is almost impossible to cheat at pool.
At the most, all you can do is hustle your opponent by downplaying your skills. In this scene, Conifer went to play pool.
His wife Iselda got tired of waiting for him to come home. After running all over Hollownest looking for her husband, she finds him playing pool.
She is so angry that she has drawn a nail on her husband. She is also pulling his antennas.
Grimm is laughing his head off because he is the one who told Iselda where to find her husband.
Conifer had turned out to be far more skill than Grimm had initially suspected.
So, this was his way of getting rid of the most skilled player at the Pool table.
The other players are just watching the scene while laughing.
I included the Mask Maker and the Godseeker in the background.
They are hunched because they play a lot of Pool during their free time. Hornet is there because she plays all Games.
As for Emilitia, she went there because the Collector told her about Game night. Her boredom eventually compelled her out of her hiding place.
So, this is the scene. I hope you find this Hollow Knight painting reference amusing.
My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
