Today, I did a new Hollow Knight fanart. This one is also Halloween theme. It is a movie poster parody of the Shawshank Redemption.
There is nothing more terrifying than the very real possibility of being sent to prison for a crime you didn’t commit.
In the world of the Hollow knight, Hornet gets accused of a murder she didn’t commit. While in prison, she makes friends with the Mantis Traitor.
I gave her a little hat. This makes her look more like Morgan Freeman. One day, Hornet hatches a plan to escape. She meets up with her friend in Deepnest.
Deepnest is like the Mexico of the Hollow Knight world. While there, Hornet gets captured by the feds again. This leads into the Silksong.
Remember that in the trailer, it starts with Hornet inside a little cage. This is the reason why Hornet is a prisoner at the start of Silksong.
Mostly, I chose this movie poster because of the Shaw part of the Shawshank. I didn’t need to change the title. It is perfect just the way it is.
The rain effect as usual took the longest time to make. Doing any type of water it is a real pain. I think I ranted enough about my Hollow Knight fanart.
