I did a new Hollow Knight poll in my Artsy Sister youtube. I asked them to pick a sports for the Hollow Knight characters to do. The winner of was Kayaking by a large margin.
A lot of fans just wanted to see the Hollow Knight characters kayaking. It is quite the relaxing sport. I looked at a bunch of reference photos. I eventually settled on this arrangement.
In the foreground, we have Hornet and Quirrel sharing the same kayak. Hornet is wearing a floaty because she can’t swim. Even if she could, it is acid water. Behind the two, there is Bapanada and the Relic shopkeeper.
They are waiting for Hornet to pass for them to continue on their journey. Kayaking on a gentle stream provides folks for plenty of opportunities to bond.
