I got around to making a new Hollow knight fanart. This one is a painting parody of a Norman Rockwell painting.
It is not a well-known work, but I like it. It features a boy reading an adventure book. He is imagining himself as the knight with the beautiful princess.
In my version, Zote got into Gretta’s library. He is reading all the weird fanfictions she wrote about him. Listening to him read is the Grimmchild.
As a little child, he likes to listen to someone reading while he falls asleep. He finds Zote’s grumpy voice extremely soothing.
As for Zote, he doesn’t know what to make of the stuff he is reading. He finally has confirmation that Bretta is in love with him or obsessed with him.
Based on his expression, he doesn’t know whether to be flattered or afraid. In the bottom part of the painting, you can see Zote reading.
Inside the circle, I drew what is written in the book. Bretta sees Zote as a big, strong knight, ridding a gallant Grimmsteed.
For his knight crest, I gave him the Grubfly elegy. I thought that it would look amusing.
The background is just Dirtmouth. This is the only big city that Bretta knights. I think I ranted enough about my new Hollow Knight fanart.
My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
