Today, I wanted to show you my latest ink art. They were made with Pixiss ink and paper.
I was just making whatever. I didn’t even use a color wheel.
I applied the colors according to my mood. I started by saturating the paper with rubbing alcohol.
I activated the ventilator to help it dry quicker. With the soaked paper, I added the inks.
I took two types of photographs. One features the dry painting.
The other has the wet painting. The wet ink art usually looks different than the finished product.
This is most noticeable in the wet version of the Spiral painting.
I also photographed three painting details.
Each of the painting details could be its own stand alone work.
Now, I am going to focus on a specific painting.
The Pink Space one I used gravity to move the paint.
I added white ink in order to allow for the pink paint to be visible.
I did the same on both sides of the paper.
Once the background was more or less decent, I added droplets of silver paint in order to complete my ink art.
My second artwork started a little bit random.
I did spiral droplets of rainbow colors.
In the end, I added silvery paint to create the seashell pattern.
I think it was an interesting effort.
This seashell painting took the longest to dry.
Not the entire day.
Just a few hours.
The more alcohol you add to the painting, the longer it takes to dry.
I think I ranted enough about my Artwork.
My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
