This is a photo I took in Key West. It is the Southernmost point in the US. The place had a mouthful when Irma came. People tend to focus on the tragedies of other people and they forget there are people in need closer to home. I always worry about those nearest to me. People with the good Samaritan itch should not forget that there is hunger and poverty in the US. Those who say that there isn't should walk about the beaches at night. Just because you do not see suffering, it doesn't mean that it is not there.
This is just one little depressing peace of thought. I try not to think about things that have no solution. Even, in the Bible Jesus said there was always going to be poor people, but he was going to be around for a finite time. I know people don't like the whole Jesus talk a lot and I tend to avoid preaching to people. I do not like it when they preach to me, and as such, I will not preach to you. You are a grown fellow and you can make your own bad decisions. A lot of people have the bad habits of blaming others for their mistakes.
Regardless of whatever incarnation it takes, it is always the same "made me do it" phrase. As for the photo itself, the sun created the typical lens flare. It was pretty annoying. The sky also looks pretty dark and I do not know why. It is not too often I take those long photos. They are more common now thanks to cellphones. Before they came about, people always took wide photos. It was like they forgot the fact that you could put the camera on its side. I hope you like this picture a lot, and now I am drawing a blank. So, goodbye.
