Technically, it is Christmas Eve. I decided to take a bit of a break from the Hollow Knight game. There was a specific jump that got criminally insane. It was then when I decided to come back later. For being a 2d platformer, it has one of the largest maps in the gaming world.
It also has a lot of monster variety. I am going to stop talking about the game as of now. I was thinking about writing a silly script for a movie. I wanted to do an established franchise. How do you go about it? Do you send it to the guild of movie people or what?
I think it would save a lot of my time to write my own original deal. For the time being, I am still painting front covers. Once I have at least 8 under the hat, I will get back to writing the main manga. We spent Christmas Eve alone. Well, as alone as one can be with good company.
Normally, we would go to a lot of parties. We decided not to importune people with our presence. We have always been the odd birds. While everyone is getting married and having kids, my brother bought a house. In retrospect, it makes more sense to first get the house and then bother about the wife.
I don’t think his girl is too into the idea of having kids. This is a good thing. I always end up taking care of other people’s brats, for free. My mother always frowns upon me asking people for money. It is not as if our time is for free. Then again, money for nothing is a bit of a curse I carry.
Once, I finally make something that resembles profit, then I will be in business. For now, I am just bored around the edges. This brings me back to this photo. It features all the Christmas presents that my family has. We just got a bunch of stuff for one another.
We did not open the presents and by now, I forgot what I got. I can’t wait till tomorrow to open them. We are going to get some visitors tomorrow. Hopefully, they will give me something other than popcorn or le flue, aka the French flue. Mother and bro already got Le Flue from them. It occurred one time we visited. It only recently became manifested. What a bother indeed.
