I recently got around to making a new photoshoot. It features all my bjd dolls posing near the Christmas tree.
It was a difficult task to pose them all together. My collection grew a lot this year. In my book, this means that it was a good year.
There are not a lot of things that I enjoy as of lately. The dolls at least put a smile on my face.
In order to stay healthy, it is important to do things that you enjoy. Taking photos of cute little dolls is something I find enjoyable.
I am still laughing at my little stop motion phase. The last video was a little too weird. I do better with regular photos. Stop Motion just takes a lot of time.
I can see why it went out of style. Still, it was an interesting experiment to mess around with.
If you are curious about it, you can see those videos on the Youtube. Youtube sucks as of lately. I can see why a lot of folks are turning into Podcasters.
I should have a mind to try Podcasting, but I do not know how that nonsense makes money. Also, I cannot imagined myself ranting for 1 hour.
I work better in the writing format. It is easier for me to write, than to talk. These days blogging is mainly a type of writing practice.
It is always important to write a little bit each day. Once you get into the flow of it, writing becomes easy.
Usually, starting a project takes the longest time. Moving along. As part of the photoshoot, I made certain that all the dolls had a nice Christmas look.
The tallest doll is already an elf, so he did not require any changes. As for my little fox doll, he has a red scarf so it works well for the Christmas look.
The cat doll also did not get any wardrobe changes. Her red outfit looks perfect for Christmas.
With the other dolls, I looked for red outfits, or dresses that seemed to work well for the Christmas theme. I also took a couple of photos using a special filter.
The camera removes all the colors except for red. I think that it creates visual interest.
With the background, I mainly used the Christmas tree and a project board for framing.
I need to get me some actual doll furniture or more dolls. Everything is a work in progress.
Speaking of progress, I am about done with the second part of the Sacred Mask.
You will probably see it around Christmas time. I also finished the Scary Cat book. The one with the Birthday Mime.
Everything has been slowly progressing well. I think this is about it as far as my nonsense is concerned.
I hope you find this Christmas BJD photoshoot amusing.
I have other Christmas bjd doll photos, but I am going to be spacing them out a bit.
I also need to get around to updating the homepage.
Everything is one step at a time. This Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister.
Merry Christmas. Bye, Bye and God bless.
