A few weeks ago, I was watching the Bake Squad on Netflix. I regularly watch TV shows about food.

While watching the show, I got a craving to eat cake. Since the host was constantly raving about her Milkbar, I decided to make an order. I got a coupon from the Netflix website.

I do not know if the coupon is still around. So, do not count on it. After browsing through what was available, I got a little bit of everything. I didn’t order pies because I do not like eating pies.

The cakes are a little bit expensive, but delicious. You pay for quality as all. I got some cake Truffles as well. One box had four different types of cake truffles. I got to try the carrot cake flavor.

Truffles are ideal for folks that just want to know the overall taste of the cake, without having the merengue get in the way. The ordered arrived with a bunch of ice bags for protection.

I started first with the cookies. They had a nice chewy texture. They were not too hard, or too soft. They were just right. I got through with the cookies first. Not all on the same day, mind you.

The next thing I tried where the Truffles or cake pops. They are made from cake leftovers. It is important not to waste anything. They were nice chewy. I liked them far more than the cookies.

Today, I finally got started eating the birthday cake. It isn’t my birthday. It is just that their birthday cake looked extremely delicious. The cake tasted as good as it looked. It has random crunchy parts in the middle.

It is best to only eat small, thin slices. The cake is pretty thick. So, you are going to get filled pretty quickly. I think I ranted enough about the Milkbar and its cake. I just wanted to make you aware of what I was eating. My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
