Today, I wanted to do a nice photoshoot featuring my two Doll Chateau bjd dolls. There is a third one on the way.
She is probably going to arrive by October, or maybe December. My mom got me the full set of a Satyr Doll Chateau cutie.
Satyrs make for some cool doll concepts. I wanted to change up the background a bit. The background pattern was created by a dress I had in the closet rotting away.
The floor was a pillow cover with some interesting geometrical patterns. I am being a little cheap with the background props as of lately.
I am not in the mood for painting a new project board background. I still think that the background looks interesting enough.
It doesn’t distract the viewer from the main focus of the photoshoot. The standing poses were the most difficult.
Ashley sometimes likes to kick up a storm. She was cooperative for a change. Titania has the wings elements that also need to be positioned correctly.
Aside from standing poses, I did a couple of interesting portrait photographs of the dolls. I like the mobility of their skinny fingers.
I tried to capture as much of the detail of the faces. The theme of it was simple. Ashley was the flower, and Titania was the butterfly buzzing about.
Aside from playing with dolls, there wasn’t too much going on in my life. There is a bug infestation killing my tomato plants.
I think there is also a caterpillar in the mix, but I have yet to find it. On the upside, the avocado plant is finally growing.
The new papaya sapling is also growing. With some luck, I will have new papaya fruits in a year.
That is how long it took the first time for the 3 little plants to grow into adults.
Everything is a work in progress as far as gardening is concern, but I do try my best.
The temperature is enough to cause one to faint because of the heat.
I made a little bit of progress with my new Scary Cat book.
Filipa is going to be exploring a haunted house.
I thought it would be something fun for the cat to do.
Speaking of cats, I saw a new stray cat in my back yard.
This one was an orange tabby.
I hope you enjoy my latest bjd doll photoshoot.
I worked really hard in posing the dolls in a way that was inspirationally, amusing.
This is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister.
Take care of yourself, alright.
Bye.
