The vampire doll arrived earlier than expected. I ordered the doll last Christmas. The store was having a Christmas special sale or whatever.
It seemed like a good a time as any to get a new doll. It also seemed like fun to have a vampire doll for Halloween.
In addition to the doll, I also got some new outfits and wig. For the time being, I want to focus on the new doll in specific.
She has a nice ghostly vibe to her. She also came with an interesting set of blue eyes. Then again, most of my dolls are blonde with blue eyes.
The eyes lean more towards icy blue. The body is nice and study. The claws are nice and sharp. She really does embody well the look of a vampire or a ghost.
The face is a bit on the neutral side. She could look a bit like a guy with a shorter wig. The outfit has a nice design.
It works doesn’t rely on Velcro. It is held together with nice ribbons. The overall style is Victorian Ghost Girl or Vampire.
The long strings gives her a nice floating vibe to it. The doll also came with nice shoes and old time undergarments.
Installing the eyes was an interesting venture. When you add the wig, it completes the entire ghostly look.
When I installed the doll, I waited a bit to see if anyone in the house noticed. She tended to blend into the white of the wall.
All in all, she is a lot of fun, in a creepy type of way. I named the vampire Candice.
It seemed like a good name for a sweet type of vampire maiden. Vampires are pretty fun to write for.
In this blog, I took some of the preliminary photos. I just wanted to know what type of poses I can do with the doll.
The legs are pretty stable, as well as the hands. The vampire doll is my second Dollmore BJD Doll.
I think she came out pretty neat, for the bucks I paid for her.
The silver eyelashes where a nice detail. Aside from the makeup and the claws, the body of the doll is pretty normal.
The final doll in my collection for the time being is going to be a fawn. I think this is about it as far as the new ball jointed doll is concerned.
Aside from playing with dolls, I am still continuing with my books.
I am also trying to make a new volume of the Manga The Furies.
This is about everything that I am up to at the moment. I hope you like the preliminary photos I took of the new doll.
This is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, Bye and God bless.
