Like most 90s kids, I grew up watching Yugioh. I also collected my fair share of Yugioh cards. My favorite cards were the Charmers. I just liked their character design.

Their effect was also kinda strong back in the day. Most of my Yugioh fanarts focus on the first- and second-generation cards. I saw the show when it was new on WB39.

It was such a bother whenever they changed up the time for the show. I sometimes fancy what it would have been like had Atem not gone the way of the dodo.

He suffered so much for his friends, and his final regard was to rest in peace. They could have used the power of the Millennium items to turn him into a real boy, before destroying them.

It would have been interesting to see how the series would have evolved, had they gone in that direction. Needless to say, I was not a big fan of the seasons that followed.

The Yugioh anime show these days is futuristic. It completely lost its Egyptian Magical roots. I prefer magic over sci fi, any day of the week. All in all, Yugioh is now just a pleasant memory of my childhood.

The cards were useful in encouraging me to draw. Trying to sketch the cards with graphite was a good way of killing time. I used to amuse myself in that task while I was in High School. Back then, I had a lot more patience.

I made my Charmer drawings with Print Paper and a Mechanical pencil. I don’t mean to sound like an old fart, but back in the day there were only 4 Charmers. It took me a while to own all 4 Charmer cards.

The fourth one I only bothered to get it decades later, when I got back into Yugioh again. My brother bought a bunch of Yugioh Cards, for nostalgia’s sake. Among them, there was Hiita the Fire Charmer.

I don’t care much for the light and dark charmers. They break the elemental theme of the Charmer cards. Anyhow, I hope you find amusing the fanarts I made of my Yugioh Charmer Cards. I worked really hard on them. This is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God Bless.
