Palestinian Sunbird Anime Drawing

This is another one of my fashion drawings based on pretty birds. The one for today is the Palestinian Sunbird. I am almost done with the silly bird collection. In the future, I might tackle other creatures ,like the colorful Jellyfishes.
This is something for you folks to look forward to. Anyhow, the bird is pretty common in the Middle East. They like to eat nectar from flowers, like the hummingbird. The only difference is that they prefer to perch on branches to eat. The birds also eats insects.
The males tend to have black feathers that shimmer with a greenish, blue coloring. Their nests look like little purses. The sunbird is also the national bird of Palestine. I think this is enough information on the silly bird.
The next thing to talk about is the drawing itself. The lines were drawn with fineliner Stabilo pens. The placement of the leg was a bit problematic. I was not able to completely erase it.
You can still kinda see the original position of it in the drawing. Still, the rest of the drawing looks decent enough. The paper I used was Strathmore mixed media paper. I think this is about it as far as the new drawing is concerned.
I recently got my Scary Cat book translated to Spanish. Keep this in mind, if you have a Spanish speaking friend who likes cats. I am also brainstorming my final fantasy book from the Saturnastra series.
With any luck, I will have the book completed before this year ends. The Furies Manga is also on its final volume as well. I am finalizing a lot of projects this year. With any luck, nothing bad will occur that will keep me from completing my schedule.
