Today it seemed like a good a time as any to write a silly blog. I have not been in a writing type of mood as of lately. Still, it is important to keep that sword from rusting away. A few days ago, my brother made me a spot to plant sunflowers. He made a half a circle with stones.
In the middle, he cleared all the grass away with the lawn Moller. He then aerated the dirt somewhat before putting water over it. The three sunflower saplings of mine have been progressing rather smoothly. If things go well, I should have the sunflowers ready by spring.
This winter has been a little bit rainy in South Florida. It has been good to save on water for the flowers. The roses have been looking pretty amassing. They usually look great during the winter time. They do not look good in the Summer. Aside from the saplings, I also planted some seeds directly into the ground. Hopefully, they will grow into something interesting.
I still need to weed some stuff out here and there. Overall, the sunflowers look promising. My sour orange doesn’t inspire me much confidence. The two saplings I have left seem like they might die any minute. I suppose you live and learn. As far as the stones, I had my brother paint 5 red runes.
It seemed like something hilarious to do. I have some crimson paint that looks great. The runes can only be seen if you stand within the circle. If you are looking from the house, outwards, they are not noticeable. They are mainly designed to help the flowers grow, and to protect the house from human thieves.
The creatures that love the new stone arrangement have been the lizards. I see them hopping from rock to rock. It just looks pretty amassing as all. Last night, there was a tiny fire in the kitchen. My brother was using the taco maker to heat up the sandwiches.
Suddenly, a wire short circuited and it shot out a flame. He placed his hand into the fire, to unplug the thing. His quick thinking allowed him to solve the problem quickly. When the plug was removed, the fire went away. There is just a slight black smudge on the paint on the wall. It is a good thing the wall is made of concrete.
If it was chirok, that would have been the end of it. This is just about it as far as my ordinary life in concerned. I am still working on the new book. I am doing research and stuff. Once I feel confident, I am going to get that dog and pony show on the road. It is going the be the another fantasy book. I just need two more to complete the series.
