After consulting with my whims, I finally decided to work up enough energy to translate my two published books to Spanish. It seems that it cannot be helped. If you have a Spanish name, you have to, by law write in Spanish. I did not make up these rules. It is just how the laws of causality work. There once was a Spanish singer who had a similar problem. She grew up in America, and was as American as apple pie. Yet, her father insisted that she sing in Spanish. The trick ended up working. She became famous as a Spanish singer, even though she barely spoke the language. However, she had a bit of an awkward time in Mexico when she was forced to speak more than two sentences. My Spanish is not that unpolished. I practice it daily, by talking with my mother and seeing whatever Netflix Spanish show I run into. I usually look for shows that my mother can watch. When she is around, I give her the monopoly of the TV.

I suppose some people might say, just get a new TV. We prefer not to do so, because this isolates people. With a single TV, people are forced to agree on what to see. This forces people to spend quality time with their family. Can you imagine any worse type of fate? I am just joshing you. Speaking of joshing, I really should google what the word means. Thank the Gods, the words mean teasing. Most of the time, I pick up random words, without knowing the meaning of them. I at least know what they are used for. I never had an instance where I was corrected. Since, I want to start the annoying task of having my poems lost in translation; I might make this blog a tad short. Then again, it is not as if I have anything better to do with my time. It is already Friday, and bro was supposed to arrive earlier. Instead, he chose to take his girl to the airport.

I might be a bit of a douche, by finding that annoying. Still, I do not know the fellow. Technically I do, but I will not get into semantics. You know that Spanish saying about the milkman. You don’t? What a pity. I just think life might be easier if everyone decided in one language. In one generation, we would not have language barriers anymore. People are so impractical with things. They want to stubbornly hold on to their native tongue, and not bother to learn a new language. They want the world to change for them, but they refuse to put any bit of effort. This is just my long winded way of saying that I find people a tad annoying. This is nothing new. I could think of plenty of bitter things to say about society, and the world as a whole.

I always felt myself as a bit of an outsider. I never did develop any familiar ties with anyone outside my familiar family. Everyone else, I never bothered to give them a chance. And why should I? Given enough time, you will discover that people are nothing, but a big disappointment. Moving along, the drawing just features a reclining classical maiden. I got her from a pretty painting, whose name eludes me. The pens used to make this drawing were Staedtler, Sakura gelly roll, Souffle, and Morris Bamboo. The pencils I used were from Lyra, Derwent, Art 101, and Royal & Langnickel. I hope you find these familiar ramblings somewhat entertaining. By, and by, according to my Word Document. I have already written for Artsy Sister 100,000 words. Can you believe it? I usually write first on a Word Document before transferring to the website. As such, I have a written back up of all my blogs. It is amassing, I have gotten this much done over the last 9 months.
