I went on vacation with my family and one of my bjd dolls. I wasn’t too certain about taking a doll.
After overthinking it, I chose my smallest dolly. I took some photos of the doll here and there.
This is the first bjd doll photoshoot that I do outdoors. I took photos in the car, restaurant, hotel, in a museum, and a butterfly preserve.
The photos in the car were the most difficult to take. It was difficult to keep her steady, considering all the bumps in the road.
I took a few videos of the dolls with the road passing by behind her. These videos are in my Artsy Sister Instagram page.
I figured that I get started on that social media. The road trip was to the Florida Keys. We did a rest stop in Wahoo Bar and Grill.
There was only enough time to take two photos of the doll. We eventually made it to the Parrot Keys Resort.
The room with liked was at 40 percent off, so we decided to go there. I took a few photographs of the doll inside the room.
She is so tiny, that she makes every else look humongous.
The first day we went to the pool, so the doll stayed in the room playing with the Nintendo Switch.
On the second day, we went to Duval Street in search of something to do.
We ended up going to a Naval Museum.
I found a few flat surfaces that had sufficient leverage for the doll to sit down.
One of the folks in the Museum asked me about my bjd doll.
The maiden thought the doll was an Elf on a Shelf.
It was a fun misunderstanding. Once we saw all the educational things, we walked about the pier.
The last place we visited was the Butterfly Preserve.
I took a few photos of the doll near the preserved butterflies.
All in all, it was an interesting photoshoot experience.
I have to admit that I was a bit embarrassed. Still, it was worth it to produce these wonderful bjd doll photos.
Once I become more emboldened, I will try taking bjd photos in other places. I might even take out the bigger dolls for a ride.
In any case, I hope that you find my new bjd doll photoshoot amusing. This is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister.
Bye, bye and God bless. One last thing I forgot to mention. I preordered a new doll. She is themed after the Queen of Hearts.
She will probably arrive by October. So, look forward to seeing a new bjd doll face in the distant future.
