Rodizio Steak and Pasta Restaurant Barcelo Foodie

Today, I wanted to make a foodie bog about the Rodizio. The Rodizio is a restaurant inside the Barcelo Maya Palace. It does both steak and pasta, just like it says in the sign.
Of course, it isn’t fair to summarize the experience in that single sentence. So, I am going to narrate the entire dining experience.
This should give you a general idea as to what to expect of your visit. The first thing we had to do was get a reservation.
All the fancy restaurants in the Barcelo Resort are by reservations. We chose to dine on the inside because it looked like it was going to rain.
We were in the last day of our vacation, so we wanted to make the most of it. I took a photograph of the menu.
You can read it in both English and Spanish. The first part of the meal is the bread. We were given two breads, butter that had no salt and some gravy.
The gravy combines spectacularly with the bread. The waiter took our orders. While we waited, there was a self-served salad bar.
You had access to a whole bunch of meats and cheese, as well as your traditional salad.
I took a photograph of the soups that my brother and my mother ordered. I am not a big fan of drinking soup.
With that out of the way, there came the main course. I had the lasagna with spinach.
It was the best lasagna in the history of lasagna. My brother and my mother ordered the Skewers.
This meal consists of 7 swords, each with seven meats. As you eat them, they bring you more, until you are no longer able to continue eating.
My brother and my mother where only able to eat 5 of the seven swords. It is an amusing meal to order, as well as fun dining experience.
The waiter cuts the meat right in front of you. So, that is a lot of fun to watch. With the main course out of the way, now it was time to eat dessert.
My mother and I had the flan. My brother had a chocolate thing.
We asked for all the desserts to come with a ball of ice cream. That is actually an option.
So, if you want your dessert to come with ice cream don’t forget to ask for it.
The menu doesn’t come with prices because the restaurant is part of the All-Inclusive Resort.
So, you can chill out about ordering more ice cream.
I think I ranted enough about the Rodizio.
The décor was nice, and warm.
