Today, I have been working on the front covers for my poetry books. I did not want to leave the website without any work. So, here is a cute picture of a boat. When you are in the beach, the boats helps to create more waves. In deeper areas, it is a good way to drown. If you keep walking straight, suddenly it gets extremely deep, like a hole opened up before you.
Most people do not know just how deep the water truly is. It is rare that the water looks transparent. In part, the seaweed is to blame. Some days, there is more seaweed than actual salt on the beach. This is not a problem for me since I hate swimming in the ocean. One day, I acquired a fear of fishes. I was not bitten by Jaws or anything.
I simply just decided I hated bathing in the ocean, so I went with it. I really cannot pinpoint when I started despising the ocean. It's good for looking from far away. From up close, that is a different issue. Mankind has the land, people should leave the oceans to the fishes. To each their own, I suppose.
All this rants have nothing to do with the boat photograph I took. I used to think sailing was cool, but the Norwegian Cruise ruined that for me. If you want to ruin the ocean for someone have them go on a Norwegian Cruise in the Caribbean, around October in the height of Hurricane Season. Rain or shine, that cruise is going to sail so it can take more of your money.
