Today, I wanted to write about what I ate this weekend. I went up to Miami Beach with my family.

Once the rains came, we got like super hungry. So, we decided to eat at Sazon Restaurant.

They are under new management, so the food is a little different. We started with the appetizers, mariquitas.

They are chips made of banana. You have two choices of dip: mojo and black beans grounded into a fine paste.

Mother had pork and my brother had a sandwich. Mine was made of chicken. It was really yummy, with all the elements in balance.

I also ordered some extra fries. The fries that normally come with your sandwich are the shoe strip type. The fries that they make are nice and crunchy.

They combine well with my sandwich. My brother had a fancy looking lemonade. It was more of a frosty than a lemonade.

Still, it had a nice presentation, so, I took a photograph of it. With the main food out of the way, it was time to eat dessert.

My brother had three milks, my had a Buñuelos or doughnuts, and my mom had the coconut flan.

The Buñuelos where to die for. They combined well with my brother’s three milks. I would get pieces from his dessert every so often.

All in all, it was a fine dining experience.

I would really recommend that you stop by there if you find yourself hungry, in Miami Beach.

In any case, I think I ranted enough about the Sazon restaurant.

My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
