Today was actually an interesting day. Mother wanted to go to the Nutcracker and so we did. The tickets were just an arm, and not a leg. The ballet was very sweet. All the children who were into the ballet Nonsense were taken there. The first half was more cinematic, the second half was pure dancing.
We are all familiar with the story of the Nutcracker. I bet each person has seen one rendition of it or another. The interesting thing about this performance were the kids. Back in the old country, one never saw children dancers. The little kid performers added a nice vibe to the entire performance.
Performing on stage since an early an age is good for building nerves. The Nutcracker had nice backgrounds too. Everything looked like a postcard. If you are interested, go see it in the Adrian Arts Center, in Miami Dade. We took an Uber to avoid parking.
The parking there is like 50 bucks. It is a good way to rip a person off. Can you imagine having to pay 50 bucks for two hours of parking? I suppose it would be a pittance for people with money. We were stationed in the Middle Center of the theater.
The view was far away, but not too small. All in all, it was quite amusing. The only bad thing about the entire experience was the weather. It was a little too cold and windy for my taste. After finishing the ballet, we took an Uber back to the car. We had left it at a friend’s house.
We then took a large Uber to save money. From there, we went to look for a place to eat. After wandering a bit, we ended up going to Flannigan. All in all, it was a good day. I hope you like my new silly anime drawing. This too is based on a cute little bird. I hope you like.
