The Florida Keys is one of the few places I have seen were there are a lot of independent stores. There was a single street were there was like 30 different types of stores. The rest were just art stores. Everyone couple of steps there was a fellow peddling goods. This was one of the few places were I wanted to buy everything I saw. It is a good thing we live in a little bit of a budget. Even if I came into some money I would keep my purchases under control. There is no need to hoard up on junk. This is part of the reason why I never bothered to collect comic books. I have a couple of comics, but not enough to be considered something that is called a collection. At most, I think it is like 20 volumes. Then again,  I have not looked through them in ages.

As of late, I have been just focusing on doing actual work, instead of leisure. This is not counting when I am seeing silly TV. I like looking at the TV. Last night, we saw one of those cute Spanish movies. There are a couple that are not half bad on Netflix. After giving it very little thought, I decided not to translate my books. Spanish is just not my main language. I have not written anything on that language in decades. I cannot just pick it up, and suddenly be good at it. Also, I do not want to bother with it. Spanish is just going to remain a bit of a leisure thing. For serios creative works, I will choose to write in English.

I could list the many reason why I prefer the English language. Mainly, it is a bit of a childhood thing. When I was in Cuba, I obsessed about everything from the US. I played all my games in English, and when I came to the States I saw only English shows. I was one of the few fellows my age that took learning the new language seriously. It took a bit of time, but I eventually learned when I started High School. As for mastering the language enough to write, that took longer. People think that you learn something and then you move on with your life. You need to keep at things, or else you forget. It is like allowing a fancy blade to grow dull.

After much practice, I can just write many things easily. With my new book, I am trying a new gimmick. I am telling a story in real time. I follow the action day by day. I am not doing any silly little time skip. Even when I do make one, it is rather minor, like a couple of minutes or hours. I still do relate what occurs during that time. I suppose this is just about it. I am going to continue with my life as of now. The photo is one of the many I took while in the Florida Keys. I hope you find it quite adorable. I took it with my Fujifilm finepix camera.
