Today we went out to eat for Thanksgiving.
We did that instead of buying making a big family dinner.
As long as you are with your family, it doesn’t matter if you eat at home or abroad.
The Texas de Brazil we went to was in Dadeland Mall.
We made a reservation to make certain that the restaurant was open. When we arrived to the mall, we started to question ourselves.
The place looked like a ghost town. We called the restaurant to make certain that it was indeed open. A waitress told us to park in the second floor of Macys.
From there, we just had to walk across to make it to the restaurant. The place was open even though the mall was closed for Thanksgiving.
The eating experience was different. You have access to the buffet in the middle. The waitress takes your drink order and she brings you a couple of sides.
These sides are included with the main course. While you sit, waiters come with meats on sticks.
You can choose from steak, pork and chicken. Since it was Thanksgiving, they also had Turkey. I took photos of most of the stuff we ate.
I also photographed the interior decoration. It had really nice ambience. The last thing we ordered was the dessert.
The dessert is not included in the price of the main meal. So, keep that in mind when you order it. Mom had key lime pie. My brother had a coconut pie.
I ate the cheesecake. Mom also ordered a drink.
I do not know what it was. I took the photo of the drink.
So, maybe you can order it with just the photo.
The final bill, including the tip ended up being 300 bucks.
The quality of the food was worth it.
So, if you are ever in Dadeland Mall, do give Texas de Brazil a visit.
My name is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister.
Bye, bye and God bless.
