Today, I dusted off the new background I had made specifically for a my ringdoll Ange. Since she is so small, she needs a smaller background to work with.
I also got a few miniatures furniture, and a bunch of food props. I had all the elements to make a proper Thanksgiving photoshoot.
My one regret is that I didn’t have a Turkey dinner prop. It is too late to order one. One lives and learns, I suppose.
Then again, Turkey isn’t a mandatory meal for Thanksgiving. It is what you want to make of it. This is at least my opinion on the matter.
Even when there is Turkey, I never eat it. I prefer pork. Corn bread is also a nice option.
In the photoshoot, I changed up the outfit of the doll a few times. I also used a few peg dolls and nesting dolls as props.
They are of a similar size as my ringdoll cutie. Therefore, they can help populate the set. I have been thinking of getting a new tiny doll.
The new doll could be a friend for my tiny doll. Then again, I have a preference for medium size dolls.
Aside from the food variety, I had a different tea set to work with.
I think they helped jazz up the photoshoot.
I took a few photos with the doll surrounded by miniature foods.
I think it makes her look like quite the little glutton.
Most of the food I had to work with were sweets.
All in all, it was an amusing bjd doll photoshoot.
I kept rotating the food props in order to make each photograph have its own original food.
I hope you like the new background.
It is a mixture of painting with a bit of collage.
I think it gives this kitchen area an interesting dynamic.
Well, that is enough for my dolls. In the real world, things have gotten a bit cold and grey.
It almost feels like there is winter in Florida. Winter is not really my cup of tea, but it saves me the trouble of watering the plants.
The new book is 70 percent done. I think it will have it published by December.
I think I ranted enough about dolls and miniatures. This is Teresita Blanco, the Artsy Sister. Bye, bye and God bless.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I hope you are stuffing your face with all your favorite foods.
