Today, I wanted to draw something fun. So, I made a painting parody of Michelangelo’s The Creation of Adam. This painting parody features Hollow Knight characters.
The Pale King is creating the Pure Vessel. I placed Hornet under his armpit as a stand in for Eve. The rest of the characters are his other brats. Zote is included with the other children of the Pale King.
He uses a wooden sword because he never got past the training stage. So, he never got a true nail. This is just all suppositions. The ambiguity of the plot allows you to make up your own story.
I didn’t include the White Lady in the fan art. Her huge size messed with the entire composition. Plus, it makes sense that the Pale King would pretend that his wife, didn’t play an important role in anything.
The Pale King had a god complex, and Gods don’t need queens to create anything. The Pure Vessel is in the abyss. The blue butterflies were also found in the abyss, so I included them to add a bit of color to the darkness.
