Yesterday, I went to home depot to buy two flowers. I ended up buying five and a couple of others . I only took a photo of the flowers I bought. I think I am going to feature the silly flowering plants I got. I forgot the name of the first two flowers. They seemed real pretty. I read they were full sun flowers.

I planted them in two important spots. They get a lot of sun and they also are protected from the winds. The plant that took the longest to plant was the rose bush. Opening the hole with a shovel was a bit of a bother. I ended up using a short knife to soften the soil. My mother had the idea to use it.

It made removing the rocky soil quite a breeze. The other plants were easier because they were shorter. I thought they were taller. Still, when I added them to the soil they spread out a bit. My brother saw me having a little heatstroke so he decided to help me plant the rest.

The photos were take the same day I planted them. In a month or in a week or two, I am going to photograph the flowers. The rose bush has four roses close to blooming. The store said that the flowers were yellow. I am wondering a bit if they are truly yellow flowers.

I thought they would be a good companion to my regular rose bush. The main rose bush only produces a single flower every couple of months. Very rarely does the red rose bush produce a couple of flowers at once. I have still to add fertilizer to the new flowers.

The ground was fertilized last week. The fertilizer is good for another week. Brother also added some new grass seeds. As of last year, we have started to take our gardening very seriously. Most people get daunted by the task. Still, if you do a little each day you can succeed in having a photogenic garden.

I also want to add more variety into the mix. Planting the larger plants is a bit hard around the edges. Still, I prefer larger plants to smaller ones. For the time being, I am waiting to see how the new plants get acclimated. I am also going to be doing some new artsy videos using Animoto.

Hopefully, you will find them somewhat insightful and entertaining to boost. Today, it rained so I do not need to water the plants. I am a little worried about the Hurricane season. I only hope things do not get as bad as they did when Irma came to Florida. I think this is just about it as far as my ramblings are concerned.
