This is a view from the hotel room of the Eden Rock. We had originally stayed in the Nobu, which was a bit more expensive. The photo was taken just after Hurricane Irma. The beach was more or less and mess, and there were signs of previous flooding all over the city. The sand had gotten everywhere. One could only imagine the levels of surf. Anyhow, after the hurricane, the rates were pretty low. We decided to stay in the hotel because the lights were off back home. It was a really hot fall season. A lot of old peopled died of heat stroke.

Well, I am not going to go on about it. I think I probably talked about it, at another time. I just wanted to mention the hotels were we stayed. The Nobu had a fancy bath, but the beds were rather hard. Eden Rock was cheaper, with better beds. The hotel came with a Spa and a fancy Japanese restaurant. They say that the breakfast is included. However, if you have three people in the room, one of the fellows will not eat. This annoyed us, so we ordered Pizza instead.

Miami Beach is surrounded by restaurants. There is like 10 different pizza places just in North Beach alone. One of them had the biggest pizzas in the world, or so it claimed. The pizza slices were rather bit indeed. Once slice was almost the entire length of my arm. It was fun to eat them. The main reason why we chose this hotel was because it has a gym and a pokestop. It was also relatively closed to Sazon, our favorite Cuban food restaurant.

Well, my folks like it. I mostly tolerate it. It does have a decent flan. Aside from the location, the hotel offers a decent amount of pools and its own private beach. From up here, I could see the hotel people cleaning the beach. They were picking up hundreds of debris. From all the places in Florida, Miami Beach was up and running within a month. Since it is the main source of tourism in Florida, the place is always prioritized. Despite the cleaning, the place stunk of rotten fish for five months.

Lately, we have been feeling a bit nostalgic about the place. We are a marriage type of people. Once we find a place we like, we put it on a pedestal and never try anything new. So, if we do visit a hotel in Miami Beach, it will probably be visiting the Eden Rock, maybe. Well, this is just about everything I have to say about this subject matter. This hotel pair is nothing too far out there, but it has a great view all around.
