Dragon's Dogma or the Story of a Pawn Game Review

It was only when I got to the end did I realize that Dragon's Dogma was the story of a pawn. To be honest, I've been itching to review this game. However, I was too busy playing Dragon Dogma to review Dragon Dogma.

My bro and I have been going through a Dragon killing phase. Thus, purchasing Dragon's Dogma was the logical choice. My bro had heard good reviews of the game. At the time I purchased the game, it was worth an arm and a leg. We bought it used. The used version did not include the instructions. Thus, we were playing the game literary in the blind.

The first thing that humored me of Dragon's Dogma was the opening song. That Capcom knows that to the sell to the Americans, all they need is rock and roll. They are infamous for making games with Great background music.

I also had the chance to hear the Japanese version of the Dragon Dogma theme song. It’s similar to the English version. However, it has a more animeish kinda background tune. Plus, the guitar Solo is fiercer, than the English version. Onto the game itself.

Looking back, I think I should have taken some photos of my main character. However, I was hesitant with experimenting with all the features. It also took a bit to try the online feature.

I am sorta glad that it was for free. In any case, I designed my Kida Nina. I've gotten into the habit of naming my main characters Kida. The Karma attached to that name has always assured Victory in all the game files I undertaken since then.

When we were designing the character, we looked over the top the bodies available. We found it hilarious the small child form available. When it came to give a more detail edition to Kida Nina, we sorta made her even smaller.

For the hair, eyes and skin, we sorta went albino. Although, we did not give her red eyes. I also gave her grown up makeup. I wanted to go for the whole, little girl who thinks herself an adult kinda look.

Body wise, my bro insisted on giving her a large bust. We compromised in making her bust a point smaller, than maximum. Manners wise, we made Kida Nina very lady like. As it is usual of our first files, we made her into a rouge. All our first and last dragon files are always Rouges. I've been thinking ,that for my next file, to make my next chick a mage.

After the Kida was done, we sent this chibi running. The beginning was totally awesome. I am speaking of the Beginning, after the Fighting chimera Tutorial. I did not see the purpose of the first Arisen showcase. However, when I went to fight the dragon, I finally got the joke of it.

In any case, I thought it was pretty cool seeing the Dragon just sleeping in the middle of the sky. How do you miss something so big? Well, the Dragon was awakened by several annoying harpies. I cannot blame him for going on a killing rampage. It seems he woke up on the wrong side of the cloud.

After munching on a few harpies, the Dragon attack Cassidis. This is where Kida Nina comes in. She was crazy enough to jump the Dragon. The dragon rewarded her bravado by taking her heart. That was so cool!!

After that, Kida Nina became the Arisen. Like you all know, she was later contacted by a pawn. Before leaving, I explored a bit, made a few pals and did a mission here and there. When I got to level 10, I entered the encampment to seek out more pawns.

To earn the trust of the pawn legion, they asked me to do an impossible task. I was annoyed at the ambiguity of such a request. After wondering outside, like an idiot, I returned inside the camp to fight an Oger.

After this event, I got to create my second. I named her Pride. Since Kida Nina was small, I made Pride huge. I was aiming at making a mother figure for Kida Nina. The game was vague about the family history of the arisen.

So, basically, Pride was a tall, hot red headed chick. I made her into a warrior. You know, for balance purposes. Once my party was full, we went exploring after slaying the Hydra. Eventually, we returned to escort the hydra head to Grand Soren.

That was the first official escort mission. Now, that I think about it... the first escort mission involve helping Madelaine get to the Encampment. Anyhow, on the way to Grand Sore, the harpies made it a super annoying mission. The pity was that the Wagon almost died because of all the falling rocks. Truly, that was a major pain.

When I arrived, the salvation conspiracy began. This random black guy wearing red, whose name alludes me, asked me to chase after this guy. I managed to do the spy mission pretty decently. He was getting something from the only hot merchant chick in the game.

I had already done her escort mission and given her some money to get to the capital. After this mission, I went exploring. I arrived to the mage tower. In that place, you find the best of everything. Thus, every once in a while I visited the mage tower or the Blue Moon Tower. Once I got bored of wondering around, I did the wyrm hunt missions. You know, fighting Salvation here and there.

By this time, I had already done the mission that helps us meet Selene. Quina had sought her out to cure our heart condition. However, Selene did not have any answers. I found her hilarious, and I gave her everything I had on me. After her escort mission, she was glowing pink.

Pink is the aura for love. Thus, while chasing after Salvation in the city, I overheard some random guys who wanted to burn Selene for being a witch. I quieted my hunt for Salvation and went to save Selene.

The Golems provided a nice distraction. In this mission, we met a ghost Arisen. She told us how Selene used to be a pawn. However, when the Arisen gave her heart to her pawn, Selene was able to become human. Heck, she turned into her Arisen.

I found this turning into the Arisen thing rather puzzling. If Pride was going to turn into me, she was definitely going on a tangent. I don't know why, but Pride would not shut the hell up. I kept telling her to shut up in the Happy chair. However, she was always yap, yap, yap, about some nonsense or other.

I gave up eventually on keeping her quiet. To make matters worse, almost all the pawns in the internet had been raised to be chatterbox. At times, I would get 50 different instructions from all of them. I could not make out what they wanted.

This was when I noticed that Kida Nina had lost her voice when she lost her heart. It made sense considering how she communicated by signs with her pawns. Plus, all her answers where yes and no. I suppose she was traumatized by the whole event. Then again, it might just have something to do with Kida Nina, and not the Arisens in general. They were all very talkative, from the Dragon to God.

Speaking of other Arisens, Duke Edmund was a real jerk. Here I bring him a Hydra head and he makes a fool of me. I did not find the fool's hat hilarious. I think the fool was the Duke's second. They were always together. Yet for a while, I thought it was the mystic knight from Salvation.

After this event, I met Aelinore. One night, the maid asked me to see the girl in her room. Kida Nina was to sneak in at night. I arrived, but moments later the Duke came in. Aelinore or the wife of Edmund hid the Arisen.

Her husband went on to choke her while sobbing for some Leonora. I did not get his woes at first. However, when I fought the Dragon I understood why the Duke was crazy.

At this point I had two options:  1. Hide and watch Aelinore die. Decisions, or 2.Save her and have the Duke choke me instead. Decisions... Bro thought my hesitation was mean. Thus, I went to save Aelinore. The Duke snapped out of his crazy train.

To save her honor,  Aelinore sent the Arisen to Prison to get a whipping. Had the Arisen a voice she would have said to Aelinore, " You, Bit#@sh!!". So, I got a whipping. Later that night, Aelinore gave me the keys to escape. All the while in Jail, I wondered why my pawns had not come to save me.

Well, it seems they were waiting outside with my things. I got out of Grand Soren wondering how this event had changed the game. I hesitated a bit before returning to the palace.

When I worked up the courage, I saw that things where peachy, except for the whipping. I then went back to the wyrm hunt. I found a tablet that led me to the Fool and the Dragonforge. Both had failed to slay the Dragon. According to the Dragonforge, the king had slain the Dragon.

Thus, I wondered about this new Dragon. Then, there was the thing about the blue lights and the tentacle monsters. Nothing of the game made any sense. Plus, I was not happy about the whipping.

The game was no longer funny. While wondering around, I found a magic tablet in the middle of the Witchwoods. I also found there a metal Golem. I took the tablet to the Dragonforge. He told me that it would turn into something neat.

Mine became the Arisen bond. This ring allows you to make anyone fall in love with you. I had read on the internet that you could duplicate the Ring. I made several copies that where worth an arm and a leg.

The first one, I gave it to the weapon smith to get a discount. I gave another one to the Blackcat copycat guy, and I think I gave one to the King. The last Copy I wanted to give it to the Aelinore. However, she was nowhere to be seen.

I searched for her, all over the palace. I even got arrested a few times. I sorta figure that the Duke had slain her. Counting my losses, I resolve to go live in a monastery. I took the Arisen and Pride to a monastery that I had run into at night. It was the first time I had gone inside.

Other times I just passed by it. I was too busy killing zombies and 2 Ogres around the area of the monastery. Those Ogres are a real pain. They go crazy for the chicks in your party.

The first time I ran into one was in the Everfalls. I was supposed to go around. However, I decided to slay it. The first time, I fought an Ogre I was in a super low level. I only slew it by luck. He kinda fell from the Everfalls. The night that I discovered the monastery I ran into 2 Ogres.

By then I was used to fighting them, plus I was using the magical archer form. That is truly the best form in the game. It has an attack that always hits all the weak spots. Thus, it was easy to slain it. The hardest Ogre I ever fought was the one in the mine. It took me forever to kill it.

Early on, I developed the bad habit of biting on more than I could chew. During my wanderings, I fought Drakes, Chimeras, Jumbo Ghost Guys, Ogres and Golems.  The hardest one was the drake. I fought it in the Assassin form. I measured the distance it took for it to get bored. I also found the biggest rock I could hide behind.

I then got close enough to the drake and shot him with my zoom in shot. The drake obviously did not like this one bit. He flew to the air and started chasing after me. I then hid behind that infamous boulder. Thus, he came and went all the time. As he arrived, I aimed for his heart. When I did managed to knock him down I sent my pawns on ahead to strike the beast. I eventually stopped sending the pawns to fight the Drake cause he kept killing them.

Trust me, it is not a bright idea to fight a Drake at level 20. This battle took forever. It took 3 game days to slay the beast. I made some good process whenever the night arrived.

I had the passive Assassin ability that made me pumped up at night. It also helped that the Drake's heart glowed like a Christmas light, in the darkness. The problem was that at night time, one always got attack by an army of Goblins. I was always too busy fighting the Drake to worry about the goblins. However, between Pride and the other pawns I was able to focus on felling the Beast.

That long battle was worth it. I got all my equipment to reach red Dragon level. Oh, I fought this Dragon in the area, after the Ancient Quarry. You know, a forest filled with Hob goblins and Saurians. I remember the first time I fought a Saurian. It was in a mission inside the Well of Cassidis.

It was full of beasts. They were kinda hard the first time. You know, me being in level 15 and all. I had missions down there from time to time. I think that is enough of meme, non-storyline monsters for the time being.

As I had said before, I went to live in a monastery. There I met Quina. She was so depressed at not finding a cure that she sought the Faith for answers. She had excelled in healing and blessings. I did a little mission for her and got 5 Flowers that never withered.

She was supposed to have been transferred to the Grand Cathedral, but I sorta lost track of her. The guy that was supposed to escort her also disappeared. Annoyed by this, I went to the palace and gave gifts to the evil magical knight that was plotting against the Duke.

I wanted to trigger the killing the Duke mission. However, I never triggered it.  A lot of other things happened. I liked the griffin hunting a lot. It allowed for the Blue Moon Tower to be fully unlocked. It was there where I found my first port crystal. I used it in the escort missions often.

Whenever there was like 5 missions to a certain place, I left the telepoty there to hurry up the other missions. I did like 22 escort missions. I also got a battle trophy for doing so many. I never lost anyone in those escort missions. Mostly cause I loaded a lot. Plus, I avoided the Ogres and the Chimeras.

In one of them, I had to go to this Miasmic something, something place. I managed to get the guy there in one piece, or two. When the night fell, I was attack by a very freaky looking Ghost. It was a really hard battle.

Mostly, cause I could not reach the ghost. I was trying out the magical knight form. For a while, it was not humoring one bit. I had this weird attack I could not figure out. It simply summon a white ball of magic. In this battle, I learned that I had to strike it to make the magic work. Thus, I was able to defeat the ghost guy.

Well, some time passed. I did the Salomet ring mission. I kept the ring and gave the Duke a duplicate. He was supposed to give me a coat as a reward for the Cockatrice mission.

However, his fake obviously did not open the chest. He was just there... staring. I guess he sorta figured I had the true ring. I simply left there and did not do any sudden moves. I was afraid that if I opened the chest with my ring he might choke me.

After this mission, and another one, we reached the Final Salvation mission. Those necromancers where raiding a fort. The head why almost slew me, but I was saved Grigori the Dragon. He gave a final, cool Dragon speech and dared me to follow him. I accidentally discovered his lair. I was supposed to ask the Dragonforge for instructions.

I sorta chicken out at the entrance. I went back to Gran Soren to rob the Duke of all his goodies. On the way, I saw Aelinore's maid. She told me of the hidden location of Aelinore. She was trapped in this Random castle all the way up north. I got a guard's armor and went to rescue her. Entering was no big deal.

The guards where, rather dense. They were too stupid to realize that anyone with pawns is an Arisen. I walked to the hidden room of Aelinore. She asked me to get her out. We had a cute, yuri kiss, and we went off.

This escort mission was a real hassle. By this time, I was trying out the warrior form. However, between my armor, my weapon, my skeleton keys, ect. I was overweight. To make matters worse, I could not carry Aelinore properly. I was hoping to just carry her and run out. However, I kinda ran into the guards. I slew them as they arrived.

The real problem began underground. The little Aelinore was too much of a Princess. She asked me to help her cross all rivers and stairs. I was up to here with the mission, by then. I dropped the guard's armor set and half my item bid. I was still too heavy. I did not want to lose my fancy red equipment. Thus, I took drastic measures with the little Aelinore.

Whenever she did not budge, I would kick her across all the obstacles. It was not the most glamorous way of going about this escort mission. Yet, it got the job done. Halfway, I met up with my pawns. After fighting a band of thieves and kicking some royal behinds, we got to Aelinore to safety.

After the princess incident, my brother was feeling very bored of the game. He told me to fight the dragon already, even though  I was only in level 50. He read in the internet that the Dragon was not the final boss. He assured me that I was simply going to kill him in a movie... he lied!

When I arrived at the lair of the red worm I discovered who was my true romantic interest. It turns out that the first person you give the Arisen bond becomes your romantic interest.

Thus, the guy the Dragon had kidnapped was the best weapon smith in the game. As it was to be expected, the Dragon gave me a deal. For the price of my lover, he would go away for a while. I then understood why the Duke had gone mad. He had taken the Dragon's bargain and obtained the Kingdom of Grand Soren. Grigori compared us to the Goblins.

Seeing the super scary beast, I decided to go save the guy. At first, Kida had to run away. One could not fight the dragon in that auditorium. Most of the time, I was following the instructions of the pawns.

In this battle, they all agreed that I had to run away. I managed to trap it in a crammed location. Seeing himself cornered, the Dragon got outside. Like Devil May Cry 4, we had to jump across the ruined city to both get to the dragon and avoid his bad breath. It was quite intense. From time to time, we would high jack a ballistic tower and all 4 of us shot at the Dragon. He obviously did not like it.

Eventually, he jumped us. At this point of the elaborate battle, I was riding the back of the beast. He was flying so fast, trying to shake off the Arisen. I had to carefully climb all the way up his back. In the glow of his spine, shone the Arisen's heart. I climbed and hacked at it.

At first, I was a bit freaked out and impatient. I kept swinging my blade too early. After the 4th climb, I got in a good position. Kida sliced the beast's back like there was no tomorrow.

At a certain point, he throws you off and tries to eat you. If you miss the command, he swallows you whole. I eventually brought the beast down. In a huge arena, Kida Nina had to fight the beast like any regular old monster. No movies where going to save her.

I have always been stingy with the items. Thus, I was used to fighting bosses with little to no healing items. It was a good habit to develop because I forgot to take all my healing items.

Most of the ones I had available I found on the way to Grigori. Another problem arose, in relation to the Arisen's form. I was currently training the warrior. Since bro told me that the movies where going to take care of him I did not bother to wear the magical archer form.

With no double jump, magic bolts or levitation I had to fight him the old fashion way. By simply climbing the beast and hoping that he would not bite my head off (which happened often enough).

The battle took a decent enough time. I was already familiar with the killing all pawns attack of Grigori. The Drake has used it often enough. Thus, I was not unprepared for what came next. At a certain point, he started doing that on a regular basis.

He also took flight from time to time. We found some ballistic towers nearby. We took care to knock him off his high tower or from the sky. As is usual with these games, the Arisen was the one that had to deliver the killing blow. It was so hard to get at him. Remember, that my Arisen was a bite size. I eventually made it and slew the beast.

At that moment, the Duke and the Dragonforge got their hearts back. The problem was that neither had slain the beast. The Duke became an old man. The Dragonforge turned to dust.

As he laid dying, Grigori said some nonsense about the Truth of the world, staring back at you from a deep abyss. After he died, the world began to die as well. It seems that Grigori was the life force of this planet. If you slew the Dragon, the world died with it.

The game got pretty creepy afterwards. There was the usual end game credits and the Arisen sleeping with her hubby. Now, in Cassidis we had both Selene and the merchant. The epilogue began after the credits.

The world has turned very ugly. According to the internet people, the sky was taken from Residents Evil. For me, it seemed more like Silent Hill. You know, that sort of strange rain you get during a Nuclear Winter. Oh, did I forget to mention that Grand Soran has been destroyed. It was Grigori the one who gave the Duke Grand Soren. Now, that he is gone the town has a deep hole.

At this point, doing escort missions and other things was depressing. I did not like to look at the sky. At night it, was dark red and creepy. Truly, the game was no longer funny. I did trigger a fighting mission. The guy who was training the Arisen challenged her to a duel. I lost twice.

I really was no good with the 2 handed weapon. It is a wonder how I slew Grigori in the first place. In any case, I went to check on the Duke. I noticed the palace was deserted. I took this time to go check the treasure vault. It was emptied out. It seems the Capcom people predicted this and thus emptied out the place. After feeling kinda low, I went to see the Duke.

The Arisen saw the king all withered. By now she had her voice back. The king told his guards that I had made a bargain with the Dragon. It was me who had cursed them. Well, the Arisen was at a loss for words despite having her voice back. We fled Grand Soren.

While escaping a murder of harpies got out of the hole in Grand Soren. It seems the hole led to the Everfalls. The strange blue light was now greenish like the sky. Heck, both the Everfalls and the sky where mirror mode.

Grigori knew this and warned the Arisen about the Everfalls. See, I always knew that Grigori was a good chibi. He just got really unlucky. Then again, someone as crazy as me would ask, after the first scene, if the Dragon was evil.

In any case, the party went into the Everfalls. Since we were preparing for the Final battle, we hired out some expensive pawns off the internet. One was Alvy and the other I forget... Anyhow, one was top rated and the other was a Special pawn. They were worth an arm and a leg.

Then again, by now Kida was in level 62. At most, I had to waste 10,000 rift fragments. It was a fair bargain. By this time, Kida was still a warrior and Pride had become a Strider. Back then I had the habit of always using the opposite form of my pawn.

Thus, if I wanted to try light weapons, I just switched forms and equipment with Pride. It made things easy and cheap. In any case, this new party entered the Everfalls. Some random pawn asked me to gather some wakestones. I wish I had collected them earlier. To find a decent amount I had to plummet into the Everfalls.

The first boss of the Everfalls was the Tentacle monster. It turns out that it was just a creepy eye. I simply got on him and smashed him, until he died. This was the simplest of all these boss battles. There, I also ran into some sage saurians. They were pretending to be pretty statues.

While wondering the Everfalls, we kept running into depressed pawns. They had lost their masters in their quest to find the wakestones. One of such pawns had the best equipment in the game. I had no money at the time; thus I used a ferrystone to get out.

I sold all my old equipment and got a nifty 3.4 million of gold. This gave me enough to purchase only the good stuff. I bought Kida a new armor and sword. I also bought a crown and some bracelets for my magical archer form. For Pride, I bought her some new shoes and a knife.

With this new equipment, our party was ready to face the Everfalls. From my short trip, I fought two bosses that where extremely hard to beat. The first one was the Hydra, version 2. It kept biting my head off.

Plus, its tail was all over the place. I can honestly say that it was Alvy the one who fell the beast. Most of the time, I was waiting for my stamina to recharge to get in there. I needed enough to climb the beast, strike it, and run away. Other times, I had to use this stamina to revive all my pawns. At that moment, I wished that I had some healing items.

The second notorious battle was a bit overcrowded. It involved a fight with a chimera, an abomination, 2 magic using jumbo ghost, and 20 hell hounds. There was so much fighting that I had to keep track of 100 different things at once. I had decided to slay the chimera and the abomination first.

They were the most dangerous of beasts. Yet, I had to keep an eye on my pawns to make certain they did not die. The problem was that whenever one kicked the bucket a hell hound would carry Kida away before she got to the pawn. It was truly a real mess.

Things got a bit easier after the chimera and the Abomination died. Just a bit of dodging magic here and there. Then, I blinked and the battle was over. It was really quite intense. Frankly, I found this battle harder, than the battle with Grigori.

After these two epic battles, I had enough wakestones to fight the final boss. In Dragon's Dogma, the Final Boss is God. I had a sneaky suspicion about it. Thus, I never sold the Godslayer weapon I got from the Dragon.

I figure that I might have to put it to good use. My brother almost sold it. It was weaker than my current weapon. The final battle was a bit problematic. In the first part, he did some psychic mumbo jumbo. Man, he would not shut up.

When I slew the shinny guy, alone mind you, I removed his hood and saw that it was me. Later, the Final Boss had me kill all my friends. This is where things got hilarious. Among the group, I slew Selene and her Grandma.

However, her Grandma was already dead... so what the hell? Among the group of pals, I slew the Duke twice. First the young version, with his pawn , the Jester. Later, I fought the old version of the king. Lastly, I saw Quina and her escort. I was wondering where they had disappeared to. For next file purposes,  I plan to keep a good eye on them.

After showing God the Arisen's resolution, he showed his true colors. It seems that the God or the Seneschal was the Arisen from the Tutorial. I was wondering the purpose of that stupid flashback. In any case, I fought him with Pride alone. It all came down to how well the pawn and the arisen worked together.

The battle was quite intense. The first guy I slew was the Final boss. However, he would not die. I sorta figure that I had to defeat the pawn to make this guy go away. However, he blew up before I could give the Final blow. When I died, I discovered the origin of the Dragon.

Those who lost to the seneschal become the new Red Dragon. Luckily , they gave me the option to fight the seneschal again. This time I slew the pawn first. I then held the Godslayer. When I clicked on the use command, the Godslayer killed Kida, instead. At this point, I said to myself, "This sucks". After thinking it through, I figure that Pride had to hold the weapon. Whenever the boss was about to blow up, I grabbed him.

I had to hope that Pride would know what to do with the Godslayer. It only took 3 risky tries to slay the seneschal. After it was all over, Kida became God. It was all a trial to make the next God more powerful, than the last. You know, to keep the planet strong and vibrant.

Gods are funny like that. They can't give their powers to any random weirdo. They must temper the Arisens steel to see if they are worthy. Kinda like Mirai Nikki. In order to Finish the transfer of power, I had to wield the Godslayer of the former God. I had to use it to slay the guy.

Before killing him, he offered me his knowledge. The questions where the usual mystical mumbo jumbo. For being the vessel of the Maker, he did not know of life after death. It certainly shows his place in the chain of command. It seems even a weirdo with Godlike powers cannot compare to the real thing. In any case, the Arisen became the new God or seneschal.

I was allowed to return to Cassidis. Kida was now the protector of her town. The problem was that Kida was invisible. She could only open doors. Yet, she could not speak to anyone. Then again, aside from grunts and yells, my Arisen never spoke.

Pretty weird... I got bored after 5 minutes. I went back into the throne room and used the Godslayer to give Pride my heart. A cute movie followed afterwards. Pride was falling from the sky trying to catch up to Kida's dead body. They both landed in the ocean.

When Pride got out, she had become Kida. Kida's hubby went to check up on Kida Pride. In the end, Kida died. She lives on inside Kida Pride. Thus, the game ended with the death of the main character. This is a final Fantasy X thing. It is very cool to slay the main character in the end. It keeps one from making stupid second parts.

What was interesting was that even before Giving Pride, Kida's heart, Pride had become Kida. Originally, Kida had started as a strider and Pride as a Warrior. By the end of the game, Kida was the strong chick in the party and Pride the Strider. Talk about switching roles.

In any case, I already started a new file using my clear data. I did not want to change the design of both chicks. This leads me to my next point. Pride has already experience fighting in the Everfalls and she is in level 65. So, if you guys see a guppy pawn with a blue lion's helm, could you hire her.

Pride is ever so useful. I trained her to always stick close to her master. So, we come to the end of my Dragon's Dogma review/ spoiler. I hope that you liked the progress of my game, even a little. You know, this kinda reminds me of those weird Dragon books.

You know, the ones where you choose to go left or right. Depending on your choice is the page you turn to. I mean we had the choice to take the Gregory's deal or not. We could have also avoid fighting the final boss.

Infinite Undiscovery Anime Game Review

Infinite Undiscovery is an interesting little game about a Lunatic named Leonid.  Not really, he is just the main bad guy of the game. In this world, not wielding magic was a bad thing. Those that lacked magical powers are called the Unblessed.

In this world, the magical powers are dependent on the faces of the moon. If the humans are born in a new moon they do not obtained any power. The main character, Capell, is one of the Unblessed. Frankly, there were a lot of things that I half liked about this game. The flute gig was pretty cool. I liked Mar Lunaris the best. It was the song needed to mitigate the effects of the moon.

Here, almost all the characters are necessary, even the secondary characters. They are all good at making something or other. Here item making is very important. Frankly, not a lot of things stuck about this game.

The storyline was peachy. However, the Trial of Tribulation was no fun at all. Everything was a copy paste of something else. The final boss was a bit hard to kill.

Mostly, because he used your characters against you. The Last dungeon was kinda straight forward. It is almost as if they ran out of  space before getting to the Final Boss. That was no fun at all.

For being called, Infinite Undiscovery, there was not a lot to discover. There was no hidden dungeons. Everything was part of the plan. The only one that humored me was Leonid. His chains fighting style was pretty neat. Frankly, the Intro from the beginning was pretty cool.

You know, the early fight between Sigmund and Leonid. The movie battle was so cool. Its too bad the awesome magic of this world is depended on the chains and the proximity to the moon. Without them, everyone would become an Unblessed. However, with them the Moon would crash into the Earth.

The game play is really fun. Although, the abilities take forever to train. I spent 100 hours training Rucha's dragon and I never got past level 1. What I really liked Best was Vermification. That Lunar rain was pretty, but dangerous. All in all, it was a lot of fun.

Spyro 1, 2 and 3 Game Reviews

Spyro was among the first Play Station Games I ever played. The first part that I got was Spyro 2. In the second part, Spyro ended up in God knows where. I could not tell because the game was in English.

Spyro is one of those games that you do not need to speak the language to play it. All you have to do is get all the jewels and then you win. I like a lot the flying worlds. They were kinda hard to win. Frankly, I only half remember this game. It was borrowed, thus I never got to play it for very long.

I only remember clearly the final Boss, Rypto. I think Spyro was summon to this other world to fight the guy. The theme music was amassing. It was one of those yelling, Opera songs. I think you went to an amusement park after defeating Rypto. They always have a little world unlocked, after the final boss is defeated. They also gave you a huge fire blast attack. It certainly made things easy afterwards.

As for the third part, I only had it for a day. I stayed played it for 18 hours straight, until I won the game. Those are the kinds of things you do when you do not have a memory card. I only got one when I bought Final Fantasy 7.

Those Final Fantasy games are impossible to win without memory cards. Well, back to Spyro 3. In this part, Spyro had some new allies. I remember something about a kangaroo chick. Then again, that whole game is a bit foggy. I think there was one 2D world. I thought that it was very old fashion of the creators of Spyro.

Among the hardest parts of the game were the worlds played with Sparks. That little Dragon Fly got to play the part of dragon. Oh, Sparks is the little Dragon Fly whose color shows how many hit points Spyro has left. It ranges from yellow to green.

A lot of other things happened; however, I do not remember. It's been a while since I played these games. Then again, I only remember well the first part of this game. Basically, baby Spyro has to save the dragons from Nasty Norg. I think that was the name of the Frog guy.

All the dragons had been petrified by the beast. To advance, you had to free the dragons and collect all the Jewels. The worlds in the first part were harder than part 2 and 3. Spyro had a lot of limitations in his baby form. He kinda did not know how to swim. Another issue was his slow running. I usually got a good amount of speed by running and jumping at once.

The flying worlds in this game were really hard. You had to create a flight plan or else loose. It was very rare to get everything in one round. Oh, I almost forgot, in the flying world you had to break stuff or fly through hoops.

Nothing too far out there. Well, I have a lot of fun memories attached to the Spyro games. It is a great game for little chibis. I played it often, until I discovered the Final Fantasy games. As one gets older, one's gaming taste changes.
